Having music cover is something we really want, however it costs a lot of money and XiiaLive currently doesn't have funds for such a feature :(  We hope that we grow and can finally bring in this feature.

The description on the settings "Stream engine" says that all formats except MPEG and AAC/AACP will always be streamed by FFmpeg. The MPEG and AAC/AACP are the only formats that you can pick if Android or FFmpeg should stream.  Hope that answers your question.

Hey, I'm still working on a solution for smart recovery with ffmpeg. Currently smart recovery works only with the Android engine. After adding smart recovery having a larger buffer won't be necessary.

Thanks for the post. It is a little hard to understand your post. :( It seems like you are talking about audio focus.  When other apps run XiiaLive will lower it's volume but it will not shutdown.

XiiaLive has two different volume controls. One, is the player volume control and the second is the external phone volume control. That's why you might feel the volume doubled?

I think being gray would be better but we also intended for the user to see what option is available.

Bluetooth is not as easy since you need the bluetooth stack and we don't have access to that. We use some of the BT features because Android makes them available. :/

Car mode has been a bit delayed since we will focus now more on a better tablet and GoogleTv design.
