Best Settings? Sprint HTC one

Really new to this app, all other are SUPER FRUSTRATING with constant buffering, but this free one seems a little better but still buffers more than i like. Can you give me a not so techy advice on what buffer (stream) settings i should use and what they mean? went out on a limb and got the paid version.

Hey, it's been a while since you posted this. I wanted to provide an updated answer to your question. The latest releases of XiiaLive contains the new stream engine that is fast and battery efficient compared to our previous solution and compared to all other apps out there that does live radio streaming. Not only that it is smarter at handling network connection loss and it is the most stable uninterrupted available.

BAD, I'M UNSATISFIED
First I would like to thank you for your timely response. Where do i start? I did what was suggested in the "buffering" post. I also tried the "Beta" version. Both instances this product has failed. It really did no better than the free version. What does the paid app really offer? As a basic consumer what we are concerned with are simple results (If I have bars on my phone, then I should have a radio signal). This app HAS TO BE BETTER. Its why I paid for it, I should have at least moderate results. Asking for a refund is not the solution. I want the product that you advertise. So far the best app has been "NextRadio", but in order for it to work, it uses your headphones as an antenna. Well I have foregone those for a blutooth headset, and choose your app to use. I use talk radio to get through my day and there is NOTHING more frustrating than you listening to the program and it stops to buffer in mid sentence of a topic, then it starts back minutes later and you missed the WHOLE segment because of the time lapse. THERE HAS TO BE A SOLUTION TO THIS ISSUE. I don't know what else I can say about this, but when it doesnt work when sitting still, then what hope is there when I am mobile? Your app is impressive in the UI but with all the settings within the app one would expect optimum performance ANYWHERE that has a cell signal. STREAM SETTING, NETWORK SETTING, APP CONTROL. with all these settings, it may have over complicated the app and overlooked the real necessity and that is to have a simple working FM Radio through a cell network that does not require a antenna.
sorry for the rant, but i'm a little fed up with technology that claims to work but does not. (yeah, its a first world problem)

Hi! Thanks for posting about this! Here is a post I created about the buffer settings and common buffering issues. Hope that helps you.

You can also try out our latest concept in streaming tech :) by downloading our Xiialive Beta app. Let me know if that works even better for you.
