Thank you for your bug report. Just to confirm I understand your issue.

When the alarm starts you don't see the player being opened?

Usted esta tratando de escuchar su propia música localizada en su dispositivo correcto? Si ese es el caso, XiiaLive actualmente no soporta tocar la musica de archivos locales.

Sorry for the super delayed reply!

First let's see if possibly the new AVRCP 1.3 hack broke BT streaming.

- Turn off the Icy-metadata option under Settings->Stream and try starting a new stream. Let me know if the issue still happens. This should cause AVRCP not to be used by the app since no metadata will be active.

After that test regardless if an issue still occurs try collecting the logs right after the issue happens when streaming. This hopefully will allow me to see a possible cause.

This is a relatively old issue... The new V3 XiiaLive contains a complete new streamer that stitches disconnections. Do you mind posting a new forum post? I should help me track the issue better with your device. thanks!

Hey Jason, sorry for delayed response. Finally catching up to the forum posts... Are you still having issues? Do you mind doing a new post with some details about your current issue? Thanks!

Where did you install XiiaLive from? Google Play or Amazon AppStore?

I was going to suggest you replicate the issue and collect the logs but it seems like you can't collect the logs easily since you are running Android 4.x.

Please try changing the stream engine to FFmpeg. That should be fast but you will loose the ability to pause and seek.  To change it go to Settings->Stream and update the Stream Engine to FFmpeg.

What device do you have and what version of Android is it running?

I would recommend you turn ON Media control settings option under App Control.  This will make XiiaLive the default handler for all playback events and should override the Android music app from trying to play anything.  With that I would recommend not to use the Bluetooth options to auto start and stop playback since your car stereo seems to be sending play and stop commands automatically.

Please make sure the car stereo is sending a stop command and not pause when you switch away from BT. This you can confirm by looking at the XiiaLive player.
