I have looked on the Google Play Market to see how many devices where supported by the free and pro version and the same count is seen.  Have  you ever purchased the app via that device? You could try to purchase via the play website and sending the install to that device. It's very odd since the two apps are identical.

Very interesting device, never seen it! :P

Well the deal with Android OS across devices is that most companies implement their own media framework and that sucks for us since they don't test as much as they should, and most of the time their stuff is missing bunch of things causing issues like the one you are seeing.

In order to try to figure out what could be going on I would need you to collect the logs when trying to stream aac/aac+ and then another for mpeg.  To collect the logs is really simple just follow these steps.

FFmpeg seeking and caching support is coming soon. I'm already working on it! :)

Thanks for your post. I'm still not sure why on some devices 502 message is happening. Something weird is happening internally with Android. In regards to FFmpeg, I'm already working hard at it trying to add smart recovery and seeking support.  Hope to finish it soon.

Ok! Lot of stuff let me try to narrow down what you believe is wrong and should work better.

1. FFmpeg stream engine almost freezes device. How can I reproduce this? Does it just make your phone slow?

2. FFmpeg buffering settings.  How are you determining that this setting isn't working?

3. Annoying rolling notification bar.  We are adding a new feature next release that allows you to disable the rolling notifications. In your case there seems to be some issues obviously with the streamer which is causing continuous messages.

4. You are pressing pause button while player was buffering? Thereafter you can't resume?

Yep! I seem to have found a way to do this! I'm trying to get a hold of a BT stereo that supports AVRCP 1.3 :)  Hopefully I do this week and confirm my changes so that it is part of next update. Crossing my finger! :P

Please send us an email at xiialive@visualblasters.com and provide your purchase information.   If you recently purchased the app we might be able to help. However if you didn't this will not be possible as of the rules of Google Play Market.

Thanks for your post. We are aware of the issue and will try to figure out how to resolve this issue.
