Hi! Cloud favorites backup is something we want to add definitely. We already started work on it and we are trying to figure out how much it will cost us to run... :/ But regardless it is something we need to have ASAP.
Hey thanks for the request! I recently got a Chromecast device to start exploring with it and see if we can pull something. It could take a while for us to release something since we are a bit tight with time. :( However, it is something I personally want to do.
Playlist support has gone a long way and should work perfectly on the latest releases of XiiaLive.
Closing this post as it is an old post and newer version of Android have resolved various issues.
Most cases this is not an issue with the app but with the phone and or paired device.  I would recommend you restart your phone and try again. If that doesn't work try playing an mp3 from the android music player. If you can't hear anything than the BT media line is not paired...  Try going into the Android settings "wireless and networks->Bluetooth settings" Than long press your paired device and press options.  Make sure "Media" is checked and is connected.
Thanks for the update. Just in case... please note that when you switch the FFmpeg you must restart playback in order to get it to switch to the stream engine. Other then that I would say switch back to Android stream engine and see if the issue returns... If it does make sure the equalizer and any audio fxs are OFF.

Thanks for your feedback. The current stream engine heavily relies on the Android media framework. This means we can't control too much of the buffering experience as we would like. However, we are just about done with our latest stream engine that will be very reliable and fast! This should resolve those issues... We really hope to release this soon.
