The media service crash is the entire playback service running on the background. When that crashes it is likely something horrible happening internally. I would recommend doing a bug report right after this issue happens by going into XiiaLive->Settings and at the bottom hit "Bug Report". This will prepare an email with details about the app.

Besides that you can change the sound fxs or even disable them by going to XiiaLive->Settings->Sound. Then change the Volume and Recover volume under Notifcations.

We are currently finishing up our latest stream engine which is very smart and optimized for various scenarios. Should be by far our most solid work.
If this is your station and you are trying to add it to the radio directory please see the following link.

If you are trying to add it as a favorite station please make sure you add to your URL http:// at the beginning.
Thanks for your feedback! Yes, widgets are not the best at the moment. We will review them and improve them sometime beginning of next year. They are do for an extreme makeover we just haven't had enough time to work on them.
Removing XiiaLive free version will remove the Main widget if was on the home screen. After removing the free version and installing pro version simply try finding the Main widget again. It should be available.

If you can't see it it might be because you have installed XiiaLive Pro on your external storage and widgets are not supported when app is installed on external storage. Simply move the app back into internal phone storage.
Thanks for your post. Are you saying that the text scrolls offscreen and leaves no text visible on the player?
Please see here for more information about XiiaLive PRO. In regards to the website links we will take a look at it and improve it. Thanks!

We really apologize for this and for loosing those points. :(

Thanks for your request. Hopefully after our next bigger updates we can concentrate some time on the widgets. They need a bit more love.

Have you recently updated your device OS to Android 4.0? Seems like that update brought the device performance down.

Are you still having the same issues with the latest release v3.0.3.3? We have resolved various issues in this area.

Could you provide the Android version your device is running?
