Again, thanks for the detailed post.  I was able to investigate and have found a bug where if the "Media controls" are set to OFF, it would never registers for media control while the app was in use.

I have fixed the issue and will be part of the next update. With this fix the app while in use will process all media controls.

I actually have the same device with the same Android version installed and I couldn't reproduce your issue.  Could you try restarting your device and see if the issue still happens?

We currently have the option to scrobble all songs played to Last.fm.  We don't scrobble tagged tracks.  However that could be a possible option.

I'm not sure what program you could use... I supposed you could create your own private radio station hosted from your pc. This "radio station" would shuffle your music collection.

Oh, I think I know what you are saying. You would like to have a place where people can essentially add URLs to it so that anyone can go there and find those links not available on our current stations directory correct?
