Nice, thanks for the thorough test! I know that ARC has had some issues with native libs. I hope it becomes more stable soon. Might have to build a FREE version only with some features disabled to at least get the app out there.

Thanks Evil dog. Actually, this is what we where thinking to easily port into PC. :)

Hey thanks for the request and sorry for taking this long to reply. I understand what you are saying and see how it is useful. I'll put this on our internal list for review. Can't promise we will implement it but at the least we will take a look see if it's something we can easily add.

Thanks for the logs. The first line you show is where things end. This is seen on some of your logs and also some other users reporting similar issues. What we found so far is that the OS is killing our media service process for some reason. For now it seems something to do with OS memory management.

On update v3.3.1.5 we fixed a bug keeping the media service from getting set as a foreground service. This might solve this issue but most likely not. If not at least we are one step closer.

I know this was possibly already mentioned, one thing everyone has in common here is that a large cache size of 60 minutes is being used. Can you try 5 minutes see if this issue still happening?

Yeah, missed the part where there are no methods to share a post... We completely missed that... About the other thoughts you have here is how backups now work.

  1. All backups are stored under sdcard/xiialive/backup folder.
  2. When you trigger a backup you will get the option to share the freshly created backup file as always. The backup regardless if shared or not will be stored under the backup folder. The backup should be stored regardless of crash issue you reporting.
  3. The restore option will look into sdcard/xiialive/backup folder. Now the logic is; find the latest backup and restore it. If there are no new backups it will attempt to use the legacy back file backup.xiia.

Hey, we have started rolling out v3.3.1.5. Which version have you tested on? We did some changes to make the backup/restore much easier. In regards to opening a backup from Google Drive we still need to look into that since Google Drive doesn't seem to properly figure out the correct file type. Dropbox works fine.
