I'm better described as an enthusiast. :)   For what it's worth, CM recently switched over to the AOSP 2.3.4 WiMax implementation from CM's own WiMax implementation.  There is a possibility it's a bug in CM.  Of course I could test an app.  I believe my e-mail is in my profile on here.
