The equalizer is exhibiting the behavior where when any of the tone bars are adjusted the overall volume drops and the tone adjustments don't work. This was reported earlier and must have been fixed once. The equalizer worked on my previous phone, a Nexus 5x running Android 7.1.1 It stopped working on my new phone, an Essential PH-1 running Android Pie version 9 build PPR1.180610.091 I love the app, and the equalizer makes it super useful to adjust to various sound settings and to the characteristics of various bluetooth speakers. Since it worked before, this may be an Android Pie specific error.
