Hello, I'm still experiencing this issue even after the latest updates. My current solution is to take off my headphones while I push play when first starting the app. This is not the biggest issue in the world, but just wondering if there is any progress on your end?
I am having the same issue with the XiiaLive Pro 3.0.2.2 on my Galaxy Nexus 4.2.2, regardless of stream bitrate. I am using the equalizer with the Classical or Dance setting. Bass boost settings don't make a difference to the startup volume boost. Also under "Sound", there is no difference whether I choose internal volume or XiiaLive's volume. Sound audio focus is off. Rebooting the phone doesn't make a difference.
Just wanted to provide an update. I am now running the just-released, paid version XiiaLive v3.0.1 on my Verizon Galaxy Nexus on stock Android 4.1.1. I am still encountering the same issue on the new v.3.0.1 with the EQ/bass boost on the phone regardless of if the phone is rebooted or not. I can't remember the last time the EQ actually worked on my phone. Hope this information helps in case you made any additional EQ tweaks in the recent update. Thanks again for your work!
Hello. First off, love the app! I am having a similar issue with no current fixes, so I thought I'd join the discussion. I am running XiiaLive free v3.0.0.02 on my Verizon Galaxy Nexus on Android 4.1. The equalizer very rarely works. I can't reproduce any steps to get it working (rebooting the phone or reinstalling app does not solve the issue). When it works, it's fantastic. When it's not working, the EQ/presets/bass boost all don't work. If I click left to change a preset away from Custom, it selects Rock for a millisecond and automatically goes back to Custom. The Custom EQ setting is set to having 14 14 14 14 11, although it sounds as if it was a Flat preset. It also turns the EQ on (if it was selected to off), not that it was working in the first place. Any thoughts?
