Bluetooth PAN usage
I have two android devices. First device (A) provides to second device (B) internet access via bluetooth. Device A large and heavy so I keep it in the bag or deep in pocket. Device B is used mostly as phone and I keep it near my hands. Question is: Is xiilive able to use bluetooth PAN connection?

Hey, as far as I know, you should be able to stream via a PAN connection unless the PAN connection is setting up some type of proxy. In the case where there is a proxy setup it might not work while using the FFMpeg stream engine, however it could work while using the Android stream engine.

Track display needs a little work
The track display shows only one line, which means it has to scroll horizontally to show the artist and title.
For long displays, it takes a frustratingly long time to be able to read the whole line.
An example, which takes 40 seconds to show:
Johann Friedrich Franz Burgmüller (1806–1874) – 18 'Etudes de genre' per pianoforte Op. 109 (24:47) {+info: veniceclassicradio.eu}
I understand why some people may like the current display — it's large and therefore easy to read at a distance.
Please offer an option to reduce the font size and display the details over two or more lines, scrolling vertically in the unusual event that there still is insufficient space.
As an extra note, please review the font used, as some characters are displayed incorrectly. In the above example (taken from XiiaLive Beta), the ü is displayed as a triangle containing a question mark. I don't know how to post a screenshot.

xiialive doesnt work in galaxy Siii mini
Hello, i just downloaded the app to my samsung galaxy siii mini and the app doesnt work. When i tab a radio the app says "502 bad gateway" :(

Please let us know if you are still having issues with XiiaLive v3.0.3.2. This release has a few important changes in this area.

4G connection issue
Cannot connect to URL stream under a 4G connection though it will work under WiFi. I am using an android with the most updated version. Setting is set to FFMpeg (android doesnt work at all). Please help

Max retries reached.......
Hi Jona, am really enjoying version 2.1.8, reconnection during signal inturruption (like when the phone swiches from wifi to 3g) is much faster now. :-) My question for you today is when the connection to wifi and 3g is lost, Xiialive will give up trying to reconnect after a piriod of time. Are there any plans in the future to give the user the option for Xiialive to keep trying to reconnect to the stream indefinitely? That would be great if you could do that. Thank you for all your hard work on this application, it is the best! :-)

Hi, sorry for late reply! The unlimited retries should work with Wifi or 3G. Could you provide the exact scenario to reproduce the retries to stop working? This seems more like a bug actually :)

Good news! Next update will have unlimited retry option under advance settings :), But this option will be available for paid version only...

Listen. You can't pull the rug out from under paying customers and force feed them something like a new user interface. That, is bait and switch. Lemme guess, I bet there wasn't even a notice on the Play store about an up coming layout change. I bet the customers who purchased the day before we're like WTF! Provide an option to return to the previous layout or provide a refund. let's litigate!

Not a really nice post to say the least... We are always going to innovate to stay on top of our competition just like any product or app sold out there. If we don't what's the point of even trying to make a business? You should at least give it a try... We included a dark skin so you can actually go back to the darker skin.
Just about 99% of people have appreciated this huge update. And yes, we did mention that there was a complete redesign of the app on the Play store. Also, if you took the time to even look... There where images showing the new look.

You can always do a final check on your PC. I have tried the link with my PC using Winamp and the link is not valid anymore. I would recommend you search for the station again, or go to the source website to see if they have a new URL. Most of the time broadcasters change their IPs cause of upgrades or such.
