At first it worked fine. But now it doesnt change the sound anyhow. I didnt found out any info if its a pro feature, only that its beta.

Reboot reported to have resolved the issue.  The cause could have been that the Android Media Framework has crashed and a reboot would have restarted it.

The EQ works on the free and pro version.  Are you getting any errors? Please let me know what device you have and what version of Android is running.

no errors, just no difference in the sound. but at first it worked nicely. Im running 4.0.4  stock on motorola Razr, european version. Ill try to wipe app data and reboot, and see if it worked.

Thanks for letting me know! Take care!

Hello. First off, love the app! I am having a similar issue with no current fixes, so I thought I'd join the discussion. I am running XiiaLive free v3.0.0.02 on my Verizon Galaxy Nexus on Android 4.1. The equalizer very rarely works. I can't reproduce any steps to get it working (rebooting the phone or reinstalling app does not solve the issue). When it works, it's fantastic. When it's not working, the EQ/presets/bass boost all don't work. If I click left to change a preset away from Custom, it selects Rock for a millisecond and automatically goes back to Custom. The Custom EQ setting is set to having 14 14 14 14 11, although it sounds as if it was a Flat preset. It also turns the EQ on (if it was selected to off), not that it was working in the first place. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the post. Please provide your device name and android version it's running.

Verizon Galaxy Nexus running Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1.

Thanks! The issue could be with us using the global session id 0. We have to change it to our own value but it's causing the EQ to crash on phones :(  We will investigate this further.

Not a problem. I understand the feature is still a beta. :) Thank you for your prompt feedback! I'll be sure to purchase the app soon--you guys deserve my patronization!

Just wanted to provide an update. I am now running the just-released, paid version XiiaLive v3.0.1 on my Verizon Galaxy Nexus on stock Android 4.1.1. I am still encountering the same issue on the new v.3.0.1 with the EQ/bass boost on the phone regardless of if the phone is rebooted or not. I can't remember the last time the EQ actually worked on my phone. Hope this information helps in case you made any additional EQ tweaks in the recent update. Thanks again for your work!

No changes where made on the last update. I'll try to do something for the next update.

Hi Jona, I recently downloaded the latest update. I just wanted to write to tell you that the EQ (and the rest of the app) works perfectly! I am extremely pleased! My music sounds amazing through my headphones now! It totally put a smile on my face. Thank you SO much! Keep up the good work!!

I am running XiiaLive free app, first 3 mounths equalizer work perfectly, but now if i turn all settings up and sound go lower. I have made seweral reboots but nohvting happen. My device is Sony Xperia Z and android version is 4.2.2

Hi my eq keeps turning off every now and then during playback. I have to open the app then go to the eq panel and "power-cycle" (and even though the "switch" says it's on) the "on-off switch" to get it back - until the next time it turns itself off again.
