Stream not playing under data connection

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 running version 4.4.2 and the issue im having is that xiialive is streaming my url server flawlessly under a Wi-Fi connection but fails to connect under a 4G/LTE connection. How can this be fixed?

Potential to be a silly question, but is that server accessible from the internet?

Yes it is, its just a URL with M3U streaming audio

But as in.. is it a local address? e.g. 192.168.0.1:8000

No its external, I can access it locally when connected to my router and it plays but that's because its a wifi connection. So in this case its an external address, accessing the external address under wifi works but accessing external address under 4g does not

Hi there! Apologies for our late response. It could be your network provider who's blocking the stream if you use data connection. If I may ask, are you still experiencing this issue? We recently released a new version 3.3.1.6. This release improved various things and included a change that might actually resolve this issue. Any issues, please let me know.? Thanks!
