How to change stations in Favourite order

0volt 9 år siden opdateret af Jona (Lead Developer) 9 år siden 8
XiiaLive is Great. I have only one... well two issues:

1. How to jump from station to station in order I have them stored in my Favourites using next/previous button. When I use it it jumps randomly to a next station and I can see no pattern

2. How to play my stations from a playlist created on PC in Winamp etc. I moved 2 playlists ( .m3u and .pls ) to my device and open them with ES Explorer. It stars Xiia but nothing happens.

Thanks

Hey guys, wow sorry didn't respond for so long... :/ I have 226 un-responded posts on this forum and a bit more emails. Yikes...

Ok, so to answer your questions.

1. So there is a pattern but it is not obvious or the best. The stations from favorites are requested in the oldest to newest order. I'm going to fix that to use the exact order you see under favorites. Also, any filters applied will also affect which station is played next. When you press next for the first time it starts with the first station. I will attempt to play the next station based on the one you are currently playing if it is a favorite. Essentially make it a bit smarter.

2. I need to verify this. It should allow you to play a local playlist. Just a side note. We are not caching the playlist contents on the app. We simply store the path to the playlist. So if the playlist is gone there will be an error. We do that specially for stations where their playlists URLs never change but their content does daily.

I seem it is possible only if u purchase the app going to xiia pro for few coins :)

Thanks for the support. But no you don't need to buy the app to play local playlists. However, to switch what the next/prev buttons do yes you would.

I have XiiaLive Pro.

I am using Android paid version and I too wonder what station the next button selects. Also for playlist must they be created exterally?

@Lynn developer doesn't care any more. I had no answer for a year. Not to say about a solution. Sad

Hey, I do care just way to busy :( I just answered your post. and I hope to have an fix for your points on the next update.

Yes sad as this is the best app of its type I have found. I did figure out how to load a playlist. I created it with URLs I wanted and downloaded to phone.
