Amazon appstore several versions behind

I recently (2-3 weeks ago) purchased XiiaLive Pro on the Amazon appstore, only to realize afterwards that it is several versions behind the app in Google Play. Obviously, there were some big changes released in the 3.2+ versions of the app, and since those changes aren't currently available in the version of the Amazon appstore, I've been using the free version from Google Play rather than my paid Amazon version. Will the 3.2+ version be released in Amazon store any time soon; or if not, is it possible to either get the Google Play Pro version for free or a refund on my Amazon purchase?
