Need better cache
I bought but honestly xia is poorly thought out in two areas: the blind cant use it and still not able to travel using xiia.....at least cache three statio s at once and make it impossible to loose music when driving. And then make using eyeball free.....else podcasts make more sense..... always have three or more hours of cache ready.....also on home screen widget when i pause the caching is stopping...

Hey thanks for the feedback. I understand what you are saying. Unfortunately live radio does have those types of issues when no internet is available. We do want to add recording feature but we haven't been able do to not having enough time available.
About the issue with the home screen widget. I assume you are talking about the lockscreen widget correct? If that is the case, yes pressing pause will cause the stream to stop. The reason for this behavior is that Android has some bugs where the play and stop buttons don't show properly. The only buttons shown are play and pause. On Android 5.0 we will look into it again to see if this issue has been resolved.

Be creative with recorder, like record while listening to other stations, and, multiple recorders going at once. Naturally, jump to recording automatically if Internet is disconnect, then start recording or buffering stream in back ground, only auto switch back when song is over. A driver is powerless to control anything but steeringwheele, so the player needs to be automatic. .. However, the advantage of xiia over podcast is the feeling of being connected with a living outside community, and lack of forethought. So recording needs to be as automatic as possible, as should the play when streams broke. Aka, offline transitioning.
By lack of forethought, I means a xiia user doesn't want to manually plan their recordings. Nor switch to them when the Internet drops. They shouldn't need to switch stations manually if only one station drops.
Naturally, music v voice discrimination detection is important for auto switching, but less essential than the function.
