Authenticated stream are currently supported by XiiaLive. Links that require login will now prompt the user to login. Also, adding stations that require authentication can be saved securely in your favorites and will not require authenticating again when playing it.

We currently don't provide user log-in to authenticated streams. We will in the near future.
If you use sky.fm or di.fm you can easily copy the links to the player and it will play them without any issues... We have tested this with premium accounts and it worked just fine.

Please implement this feature soon. I'd like to use my squeezebox with xiialive but I have it password protected so it won't work at the moment.
Really need this function - just subscribed today to a high quality Japan-A-Radio (japanaradio.com) stream and can't play it with XiiaLive. I really don't want to have to find another app! I tried the http://username:password@ method but xiialive just kept returning a 401 unauthorised message.

Authentication support has been supported since v3.0.0.03. This post answer was a bit outdated. :)
