Sort stations by bitrate

Maciej Sopek 12 år siden opdateret af Rodrigo (Developer) 8 år siden 9

it would be great to be able to sort radio stations by bitrate, so i can see the best quality ones first. I only listen to 128kbps or better,so that would be awsome:).thanks for fixing that bug with last.fm!

Hi Jason,

We will keep in mind your suggestion.

Thanks,

You can currently filter search results and many cool ways! You can add the following filters:

- Audio quality: [low, med, heigh] "Takes care of picking between aac and mpeg formats. Only available on Pro"

- Bitrate range: "Allows setting a min and max bitrate value. Only available on Pro"

Image below just shows how to get to the dropdown menu for more options:

Filter that should answer your request:

Hello,

This is great, however it seems  i cant filter results when im looking across particular genres. Say id like to find all ambient albums at 192kbps+. I know this is also possible for the search menu, but it would be very cool to have it in the genres display as well. Note that some radio stations that are categorized as , say, ambient, do not have that word in their name. Plus its just easier to look across genres imo

Thanks for your tip anyway!

The filters should also work on the Genre list. I'm not sure I understand your idea on the last two sentences? :/

well the bottom line is that i cant access the filters when im viewing stations in the genre mode

Oh, yeah the drop down options don't show up when you are only seeing the genres lists. After, you click on the genre and the list of stations show up, that the drop down is available...  This might need to be improved to show the drop down any time while in the genre lists.

thaanks, i haven't noticed it becomes visible when I display radio stations. thats cool, solves the problem;)

I have xiialive pro and my search does not give any filter or sorting options, when i swipe down on the menu bar under search, the only option is 'scan'.... However under favorites i can filter those stations by quality or bitrate or file type. I'm trying to use as little data as possible so it would be nice to be able to search for stations at 64kb/s or under...
