Beta Version Alarm stopped working.
I have the purcahsed XiiaLive 2.2.4 version installed on my Sony Ericsson X10i 2.3.3 and it's been working solid since day dot.
From here in anybody reading this, I am referrering to the beta version which has no reflection on the released version which works fine for me.
Using the beta version 3.0.0.02 with the original still installed, but not active I had a forced close on the beta version.
That's no biggie as it happened once and has not done so again (sort of).
I have had the phone 'hang' and needed to power off and on again to get the appication going again. That's happened a couple of times.
I noted the same folder/file is used to backup station lists and was easliy able to restore my station list to the Beta version.
I was able to set an alarm from the existing favorites and continued tooling around with the rest of the options and settings.
Stopping and starting streams and changing settings I had another hang on the phone.
So decided to remove my existing XiiaLive 2.2.4 version and the Beta version and then just reinstall the Beta version.
Thinking this may remove any conflicts the two apps may have. if any at all.
I now noted I still had an alarm set with no XiiaLive install. I couldn't find any access point to remove the alarm.
Reinstalled Beta and the alarm didn't re-appear in the Beta application but still indicated being set in the notification bar on the Android screen.
Cleared XiiaLive Beta application data and cache, uninstalled the Beta version again and restarted my phone.
OK the alarm icon is removed and the alarm is not seen in the default 'clock' settings.
Re-install the Beta application, but now I can't set an alarm, it just gives an error "Alarm failed to be scheduled!"
The default Android clock alarm still works fine.
Sorry, I don't have a blow by blow breakdown of what I did, it was more like Wooowww new..woooww shiney.. I'll bash it with my fingers and see what it does... and that's what happened.
So, any thought's on how one would restore the alarm functionality in the current Beta version on a non-rooted phone?

Thanks for the long and informative feedback. Yes, it has been a while since this was posted however we did work on this particular issue. The current official release should have the alarm issues resolved. We had to re-write them completely cause they were giving too many issues. Again thanks for your feedback and sorry for replying such an old post... :/
