When can you include icecast as a directory choice?

I'm planning to start it very soon. Most likely sometime January I'll have a beta directory version.

I run a radio station that is on shoutcast at the momement but moving to icecast, will my listeners still be able to use this player when I have icecast server only   Greatest Hits Radio Midlands UK is the station
