media server crash

Hi, whenever a notification kicks in (plays an alert sound) during the playing of a stream, XiiaLive Pro notifies me that the media server died, it plays then the notification alert, and then it reconnects to the stream again. Can you manage to just lower the sound for the amount of time the notification alert plays its sound, and then again play the stream further, without disconnecting from the stream and killing the media server?

The media service crash is the entire playback service running on the background. When that crashes it is likely something horrible happening internally. I would recommend doing a bug report right after this issue happens by going into XiiaLive->Settings and at the bottom hit "Bug Report". This will prepare an email with details about the app.

Besides that you can change the sound fxs or even disable them by going to XiiaLive->Settings->Sound. Then change the Volume and Recover volume under Notifcations.

We are currently finishing up our latest stream engine which is very smart and optimized for various scenarios. Should be by far our most solid work.
