Thanks for the great details provided! What settings are you using under Sound? Is the Internal volume set to ON or OFF? How about the other Sound settings? If I can't reproduce the issue I might need to send you a new version of the app with extra logging information enabled so I can understand where the issue is coming from.

I just checked your stations and I do see the issue with one of the stations. I did see a similar issue with other stations and it seems to be an issue with the SHOUTcast tools.

Thanks for the post. I have tried doing what you said and it worked just fine for me. Just to confirm here is what I did.

1. Add the URL you provided as a favorite.

2. Edit the name and genre and save.

Something to note is that if you already previously played the station and you try adding it to favorites via the "+ ADD URL" option it will fail to save any changes. This is a bug for sure in that case and I'll fix it.

Hey thanks for all the details! It is always best to figure out an issue with lot of details! I'll wait until you let me know if the issue is local network.

You can mute the notification updates. However, we can't remove the notification status icon since we are a foreground process and Android strictly requires us to use one. If we didn't streaming would suddenly be killed by the Android OS without any warning.

To mute notification updates:

Go to Settings->General and turn OFF Mute notifications.

Are you trying to set an alarm to trigger a station to start up? If so you can go into settings and go into Alarms. There scroll all the way down and tap on add alarm.
