What device are you using and what version of Android is it running? Thanks!

Hey guys I just want to recap the issue going on here. Saab and Vincenz both confirmed that streaming using Xiialive 2.2.4 things work fine while on the latest version of XiiaLive 3.0.0.02 things aren't working.

Please let me know the audio format of the stations you are having issues with? AAC/AAC+ or MPEG? Also, if it's happening with all stations of the one format or just some stations. If just some stations please provide the links to those stations if possible so that I can see what they have in common and why they aren't working.

I just want to recap so that I can dive into this issue and see what has changed that could have caused this issue.

Hi, sorry we don't know where you could find that stations. Generally we point people to vtuner.com since they got a lot of stations that aren't available sometimes on SHOUTcast.  Take a look there you might be able to find it.

Thanks for taking the time to post about this issue.  What device do you have? From what it seems you have a small screen device.  When the screen is too small we have to hide the volume bar since there isn't any space left.  Have you tried using the "Original" skin? That has the old volume style that is always visible.

Thanks for your request! We have plans to create a lock screen player. This player would provide tagging option.

Thanks for your feedback! :)  Yes, recording is not there yet but it is planned. It is a difficult option to pull off that works reliably and easy.  Will take a little bit of time but we will get it there soon! :)

Thanks for your feedback. Those issues I have seen and hope to resolve them for the next update. Thanks again for taking the time to post about this issue.

Some questions for you:

1. Could you verify the exact errors you are seeing when streaming the AAC and the MPEG stations?

2. Do you have any virus protection apps such as Avast?

3. Please try using the stream engine FFmpeg. You can change that user settings->Stream

Thanks for your feedback on our new app! :)  Please see the following post about adding a station to the directory:

We hope one day we can allow users to add their own stations to a community built directory for everyone.
