Turning OFF the internal stream engine resolves the issue.

XiiaLive -> Settings -> Advanced users -> internal stream engine set to OFF.

What phone do you have and what version of android is it running?  Have you tried turning on the internal stream engine? XiiaLive -> Settings -> Advanced users -> internal stream engine set to ON.  If you already have it as ON try changing it to OFF...

Well the initial connection/prebuffering area of things should have improved since I removed a lot of heavy unneeded code.  In regards to the internal stream engine there has been very little improvement there on this update.  If you use the Android native stream engine you might see batery improvements but on the internal stream engine not so sure there is any...

Fixes:

-Rare crash when starting a new stream caused by invalid sound effect theme.

-Auto resize menu bar divide by zero crash.

-Various database exceptions that caused app to crash.

-Minor app optimization by consolidating multiple threads into one.

Could you reproduce the issue and imideately capture the logs on the phone?  This will help me see what is happening.

Oops! Sorry I completely missed the very important part where you did try from the browser and it didn't open the option to stream with XiiaLive.  If it means anything I'm the developer of the app and also the one that provides support... It's essentially just me...

In regards to your issue, have you tried restarting the phone and trying again? The pop-up should work.  When I wrote you I made sure that method worked by going to the provided website.  I think maybe with a simple restart it could work.

If it doesn't than copy/paste these links and use the add favorites option:

Thanks for your feedback! :) I think it's a great idea!

We don't have control over the radio directory otherwise we would add it.
