RTMP is not supported
When i try to add rtmp link, it says "Error failed to connect", but it works on VLC player.
Note: You must be in US or use US VPN to play rtmp station. The station is named Air1 Radio Los Angeles

Hello Evildog! Can you please provide us a valid url link. As I have escalated to our developers and they've mentioned that the RTMP link you've provided earlier isn't working. Thank you!
Ignore the link above. i have got it to work by removing the RTMP link http://vlr.radiostreaming.dk:8050/vejle?20
But the RTMP link i posted in topic, does work perfectly on VLC Media Player and VLC can also retrieve song titles from RTMP link. The problem is Xiialive have the bug that ignores the "R" letter in link and return as tcp://cp19775.live.edgefcs.net:1935?listen&listen_timeout=2115098112 instead. that caused "failed to connect" error because the "R" letter is missing
In logcat, it says:
08-18 15:36:13.211 E/ffmpeg ( 1059): Cannot open connection tcp://cp19775.live.edgefcs.net:1935?listen&listen_timeout=211509811208-18 15:36:13.215 E/libxl ( 1059): void LOG_FFMPEG_ERROR(int): LOG_FFMPEG_ERROR :: fferror [-99='Cannot assign requested address'] 08-18 15:36:13.215 W/libxl ( 1059): int Playlist::cancel(): Nothing cooking!
can you see that Xiialive ignores the "R" letter?
Here is the RTMP link of KOST 103.5 Los Angeles. I repeat, you must use US VPN/Proxy to be able to play the station!

Proof that RTMP link works in VLC Media Player
Hello! Thanks for providing us this information. I have escalated this already to our developers and they're currently working on it. Thank you!
Thanks for the links and the info. I was able to test and figure out how to resolve the issue. A fix will be available on the next update v3.3.1.11.
I'm now trying to see if I can fix incoming metadata updates. As of now only the initial connection metadata is read.
