Impossible to backup favorites and restore favorits without File Explorer app (Xiialive 3.3.1.3)
In Xiialive 3.3.1.3, the backup favorites has changed and makes it impossible to backup favorites and restore favorits without File Explorer app. When i press backup, it ask me to share to somewhere
Note: i will use Droid4X emulator to reproduce the bug, and not on my real device that i'm using it daily
After that, the temp files are created in /xiialive/temp
Without a data in the backup folder, Xiialive could not restore the file
Without any apps that Xiialive could share with, the app crashes
I grabbed the error log using Catlog app

Please bring back the old method to backup the favorites from 3.3.1.0. There is no need to change anything when it works fine.
Also I want Google backup feature that i can sync my settings and my favorites into my Google account

Hey, we have started rolling out v3.3.1.5. Which version have you tested on? We did some changes to make the backup/restore much easier. In regards to opening a backup from Google Drive we still need to look into that since Google Drive doesn't seem to properly figure out the correct file type. Dropbox works fine.

You misunderstood me! This is not about opening files from Google Drive, and you just mark it is FIXED. Wtf!?
I tested on 3.3.1.5 but there are no changes with backup and restore.
1. It does not directly backup file to /sdcard/xiialive/backup. instead, it backups to /sdcard/xiialive/temp, file name is 1234567890.xl, and It asks me to share with email, browsers, chat and other useless apps. why???
2. You can't restore backup without a file manager app to rename the file back to xiialive.xiia and move to backup folder
3. Without any apps that Xiialive could share with, the app crashes
4. Same details above

Yeah, missed the part where there are no methods to share a post... We completely missed that... About the other thoughts you have here is how backups now work.
- All backups are stored under sdcard/xiialive/backup folder.
- When you trigger a backup you will get the option to share the freshly created backup file as always. The backup regardless if shared or not will be stored under the backup folder. The backup should be stored regardless of crash issue you reporting.
- The restore option will look into sdcard/xiialive/backup folder. Now the logic is; find the latest backup and restore it. If there are no new backups it will attempt to use the legacy back file backup.xiia.
