Yes! You can set your "pre-buffer" and "ongoing-buffer" in the settings page area.
Tip: The higher the time the longer it will take to start playing.

It will take up to 50 seconds to change network from Wi-Fi to 3G and to GSM/GPRS/Edge. Therefore it´s very imortant to have the possibility to have a larger buffer both in the server and in the player
Well, when the switch happens if you loose the connection than it wont connect until the buffer is played completely.  So if you are having data dropouts I don't recommend really large buffer length.  Possibly keep pre-buffer at 15000.
