And last the backup file .xl don't show the tags with Cyrillc and Thai alphabet while before with. xiia these tag showing perfectly.

Mine does backup tags with special characters "æøå". Does yours show the rectangle or question marks symbol?

No. These tags showing like this: "Π”Π²ΠµΡ€ΠΈ Π² небесΠ, 我們都一樣. Also i have problem for some letters, for example S cizΓ ΕΎenou v cizΓm pokoji, Buenas noches, desolaciΓ³n, Lα»‘i CΕ© Ta Về, Γ€S VEZES and more.

Oh ok. contact the developer about this problem.

Hey @Dimitris, can you send me both backup files? The .xl and the xiia one? I would like to check them both. Hopefully you still have the good xiia backup file.

About the station count. I think the backup files should help me reproduce that issue too. I'm sending you a private message with my email.

You need to restore old way to backup .xiia favorits and tags because when i try to backup, it ask me to send the email, then i could not restore the file until i install the file explorer app and rename the 1837282992.xl to backup.xiia file and move it to /sdcard/xiialive/backup

think before you modify something. this is not a great way to make a backup with email

Interesting thoughts @Evildog. So you are saying that doing backups are impossible the new way without having a file explorer app installed correct? I do see where things are getting complicated, essentially if you have no app to store the backup file. I will make your post into a new topic if you think I understood your post right.

What I'm thinking to do is; store backups under xiialive/backups. Each backup you do a new file will be added. When you hit restore the newest backup will be picked and restored. If an old legacy backup found it will restore that one.
