I have tried your link on our devices and it's working. Could you provide us with a little more information?

1. What device do you have and what version of Android is it running?

2. What is the exact error you are seeing?

Thanks for the feedback! Could you provide the device name you have and what version of Android is running?  Also, if you are able to take a snapshot of the screen you see the font being too big would help us see and understand what could be done.

Are you having issues adding the URL to your favorites via the Add URL Wizard?

Can you try pasting the URL link on the Android browser? That should make Android show XiiaLive as an option to play it.

We don't apply any gain to the streams.  We use the Android media framework and I believe they don't allow to go over 0.0-1.0 volume level.  At least we limit volume from going over 1.0 even dough I believe Android doesn't allow going over 1.0 volume level anyways. Locking the volume at 100% would mean setting the player volume all the way up and using the phones external volume controls.

Yes, I don't like ether what VLC does with their volume control. Don't worry won't be doing anything like that! :)

Two things.

1. You can actually turn off the notification sounds ;)

I was hoping to release sooner but just a few new things has kept me from doing so.  I hope the update can be released in the next week or so.

Just to confirm, you are trying to connect to live stream and not local files correct?

There seems to be an issue with the Android media framework on your device. I would recommend you switch to the FFmpeg stream engine. Simply go to Settings->Stream and pick the stream engine. Do this while playback is stopped.

No need to send me the backup! Thanks for confirming the issue! :) Will try to fix this for next release.

Ok, well if you do get the error please try doing a fresh install of XiiaLive. Thanks and sorry about this issue... :(
