Thanks for the feedback... Wow, 60GB?! That's nuts! I don't even think your device can use 60GB of data in 5days. I also don't think the network would be able to do it. My guess this is a bug on the custom ROM.

One thing you can know for sure, XiiaLive is only running when you see the persistent, now playing, notification on the Android status bar.

XiiaLive should be available on all Android devices running Android 1.6 and higher. The reason you don't see it available is because the app hasn't been created for GoogleTv. However, I might try to enable it for GoogleTv as is at least for now.

Thanks for the link. I have tried it on VLC player but I can't get it to work. Is that the correct URL?

The prev/next buttons are used by default to play the next favorite station. If you don't have any favorite stations then you will receive that error message.

There are two different ways you can go into the next playlist item.

1. Simply swipe from right to left on the player station title area. This will show you a playlist. You can easily tap on the playlist item you would like to play.

2. Make the prev/next buttons simply go to the next playlist item. You can change it to behave like that under settings->App control->Player next/prev.

Hope it helps!

Thanks for the feedback. This is an issue that was seen on Nexus4 devices also running the same OS version. My guess is there is something on Android that has changed in this OS version that is causing issues. I'll be looking to see if I can resolve the issue.

About the FFmpeg stream engine what issues are you essentially having? By the way we are working on a much more improved stream engine that will allow recording and seeking just about any audio format. Now date for release yet...

Interesting request! I will review this idea and see if we can do it as you are suggesting. Thanks!

We definitely want to provide the app on iOS. It is just a bit difficult since we are very small company and resources aren't enough :(. But we are actually working to improve XiiaLive for Android which in turn will contain a lot of the projects core code to be reusable on iOS. So it should make this a lot easier for moving it to iOS.

I really would like to port it over sometime this year! :)

Thanks for reporting this issue.

1. What device do you have and what version of Android is running?

2. Did you turn ON Ignore audio focus by any chance under Settings->Sound.

3. Does this issue happen every time?

Hey thanks for the feedback! Are you using the FFmpeg stream engine? If you are can you test with the Android stream engine? If you aren't using FFmpeg stream engine could you try streaming AAC and MPEG content so see if any of those formats are played correctly?

Also, are you able to search for stations while using BT tether?
