Yes, mainly the reason for lighter skin is to be able to see it during the day...
Can you at least stop the stream with the media controls?
Thanks!
There are a couple reasons why some of your favorites aren’t playing.

1. The radio broadcast server/s is/are possibly down, full or no longer available.

2. The broadcast moved to new servers. In the case they move to new servers you can just try finding the radio station again via search and add it back to your favorites.
As long as you are using the same gmail account that you used to originally purchase XiiaLive, you can re-download to your phone as many times as you like without getting charged again. So even if you get the purchase option you wont be charge twice. If it does don't worry send us an email we will resolve the issue.
XiiaLive uses SHOUTcast.com directory for radio stations. Because of that we don't have control over it's content. As far as I know Howard Stern does show up on the directory but I can't guarantee it will be there always and be the particular feed you are looking for.

If you can't find the station you are looking for using XiiaLive you can always add your own url link via favorites.
We don’t control the content on the directory, it is strictly up to the broadcaster to make their radio stream available on SHOUTcast.com.
What usually happens is radio stations take their streams down temporarily for maintenance and then bring them up in a few hours or sometimes days. Also, some streams are pirated and can be taken down.
This is a great idea! We definitely want to give this option to our users. :) Thanks for your feedback!
XiiaLive requires many resources when it is used. First, the antenna takes a large amount of power when it is constantly being used to download more data via EDGE, 3G, 4G or WiFi. Second, XiiaLIve is constantly processing data.
There are many things that can affect this scenario. First, your network internet speed. When you see you have full bars, that does not mean you have fast internet speed. You may be connected to 3G and your internet may be slow. Second scenario, radio bitrate vs. internet speed. The higher the bitrate the better the quality of sound and the faster your internet will need to be. So use your judgment...
