This is actually a good idea... :) We will look it over and see how it feels to have such feature...
Hey guys sorry to have taken a long time to put an update on this. We have found the issue and we are trying to resolve. The AAC issue was broken on Froyo but there is a work around which we are working on... As soon as we get the fix we are putting an update out! :)
Thanks for your patience,
-XiiaLive Team
This is a good feature to have. For sure we will plan to have this in the near future.

Thanks for using XiiaLive!
We have added local playlist support on the latest version of XiiaLive 2.1.4. But you would need some type of file explorer to actually click on the playlist to start it up...
We currently don't provide user log-in to authenticated streams. We will in the near future.

If you use sky.fm or di.fm you can easily copy the links to the player and it will play them without any issues... We have tested this with premium accounts and it worked just fine.
Great question!

Well the first "Phone and State identity".

Without this permission we wouldn't know when to lower the volume of the stream when a phone call is received or being made.

Second, "gps location".
We have this for ads purposes. If you install the paid version it wont ask for this permission because we don't use ads there.
Currently it is not possible to start up the app and get music going right away... It is a great idea and we will add it to our list! :) Alarm clock is also something we like to get going in the near future...
XiiaLive uses SHOUTcast radio directory which is free. We currently offer two versions of the application one which is free "ad supported" and another with no ads for $3.99.

Paid version is a one time fee. The free version no fees.
Depending on your phone, we have seen that all HTC phones that upgrade to Android 2.2 "Froyo" loose the ability to stream AAC/AAC+ content. This is a bug in their Media Framework and we are working hard to get a work around.

So if your favorites include some that are AAC/AAC+ they wont play... :(
