Currently SHOUTcast directory is having some issues and it's being updated.  This could be the reason why you can't find these stations.  They should come back up in the next day or so... hopefully.

Thanks for the info! Yes, this is a great feature.  We have tried in the past but some protocols where not available on Android.  What version of Android is this device running? 

I have tried playing this stream with Winamp but I was not able.  I'm thinking this stream might be using some very old server or it might just be down? 

Yes I was afraid that wouldn't fix it.  If you can figure out how to reproduce the issue every time and how you are doing it please let me know so that I can try to reproduce the issue and try to resolve it. It might have to do with the custom ROM. 

Thanks for the info.  That's good news for me that on the player you have the correct metadata :)  In regards to the widget well it could be very possible.  I don't think internal stream engine will make a difference in this case... 

Thanks for the update.  There seems to be an issue with the icy metadata.  I'll try to see if the one developer in charge of the internal stream engine can see what is possibly going wrong.  I tested with internal engine to OFF and I was able to stream.
