Hey Sean, The latest release of XiiaLive allows you to turn off the alarm timeout option.

Here is how to do it:

  1. Go to XiiaLive->Settings->Alarms
  2. Slide to 0 the Timeout length option. This will set it to OFF.

New release 3.3.1.8 rolling out with a fix. Thanks Evildog for the info.

Looking into it! Thanks for reporting this...

Hey, incredible how this slipped... Might be the nightless sleep... I updated yesterday the beta release and should have this issue resolved.

Ah very interesting use of the "StreamUrl" :P I'm going to implement support for that for the next release. Thanks for the details! :)

Hey thanks for writing about this. We use a 3rd party to pull album art. We are not looking at the icy-metadata for album art. However, if you have details on how you are sending the icy-metadata with album art and a link to your station, it could help us look into it.

Is the artwork URL you send an option on your server? Is it part of the icy spec?

Thanks for the logs. I took a look at your logs and I can see why it stops and it doesn't restart.

When a disconnection happens internally we try to reconnect. When the reconnection attempt happens, after valid network connection returns, we are receiving an error "Server returned 404 Not Found". This internally is considered a fatal error that causes the auto recovery to stop and thus causes a fresh reconnection at the end of playback.

Might be able to build a new version of XiiaLive with more logging enabled to see why error http 404 is returned.

The different player skins provide a way to tag a playing song. A tagged song is simply stored as text. Tagged songs is just a list of songs you liked location under Favorites. You can tap on a tagged song to search for stations playing that song.

We don't actually store the song data or allow for purchasing.
