If you spotted a bug and you want to let us know about it, first try searching for OPEN bug posts with similar issues and add any details you think might help us with it. Also, make sure to up vote the OPEN bug post so we know how critical it is. If no OPEN bug posts are found simply post a new one.

When you post new bugs please give us as many details as you can! This will help us resolve issues quickly and easily.

  1. What device do you have?
  2. What OS version is it running?
  3. What happened?
  4. What did you expect to have happened?
  5. What steps reproduce the issue?

Best Shoutcast client for Anrdoid

I went through maybe a dozen of Shoutcast clients and XiiaLive was the only one that didn't suck. In fact, I liked it so much that I bought the full version.

(BTW, why does it access the phone IMEI code?)

Awesome! Thanks for you kind feedback! :) We use permission READ_PHONE_STATE for knowing when a phone call is happening or ended so that we can mute the stream or resume the stream.  This permission I believe also carries IMEID access but we don't use that.

I really like your Android player and its features; I personally feel it's the best online player around. I'd also like to mention I was overjoyed when I heard about your project for the Samsung TV app contest; all I can say is that I'm really rooting for you guys and anxiously hoping to be able to use it on my TV, too... ;)

Please try going to vtuner.com and try to find your station there.  Once found just click on it and let XiiaLive stream it.  Than you can save it to your favorites.

The first thing I see is that the particular link is not to the actual station. I tried looking to find the url link to the station and I did but the format that it's being broadcast is not supported by XiiaLive. We currently don't support Windows Media streams but will support it very soon!

Some radios go down but most of the time return. So I would check a day after or so...

Thanks for your feedback! :)  Yes, recording is not there yet but it is planned. It is a difficult option to pull off that works reliably and easy.  Will take a little bit of time but we will get it there soon! :)

Please get rid of the audio commercial the app is good the only thing is the commercials I have the paid version don't mind to pay a little more for a version that has no audio commercial please thank you

When you get an invalid URL issues please go to xiialive settings and all the way on the bottom press bug report. That should help us see what could be the cause. Thanks!

OK I have written before and am confused. I go to www.radiocentro.com.mx and want to connect to 2 of their stations there. You all say you do not support the format yet. 2 of the stations on that site I can access on xiialive. There are 2 others on there I cannot. The 2 I can access are Universal 92.1 and StereoJoya 93.7. They were already on the listings. The 2 I want to add are RadioCentro and Fonografo. When I try to add the 2 already on xiialive I get an unsupported format error as well. Maybe I am entering something incorrectly. Please help!!!

Hello, sorry for the late reply. I usually recommend sending an email to the radio stations. Sometimes they can provide you with the correct link to stream their radio station. The formats supported by XiiaLive are MPEG and AAC.
