Touch screen

Have a Motorola Photon and am using 3.0.1.2 version. When I touch my phone screen I sometimes get a blast of sound. Killing my ears. Happens with or without headphones.

Does this issue happen to you occasionally or always? Can you reproduce the issue fairly easy? If you could describe steps on how to reproduce it it would help me narrow down possible causes.


When you get the bursts of audio you are already streaming music and it gets loud all the sudden correct?

After purchasing the Pro version, I cannot install it.

I uninstalled the Lite version, and it re installs fine, but the Pro says it cannot be installed into USB storage or SD card, I tried installing first the Lite then Pro and then only the Pro.

Bluetooth auto play?

I had a Droid X which I Bluetooth tethered to my vehicle.  I just upgraded to Galaxy Nexus but the stream doesn't auto play when I switch to AUX like it used to.  I have to press play to start the stream.  The media controls are on and working, however it doesn't automatically start like it used to.  Any ideas?

There are a few issues in regards to Android 4.0.  This has to do with BT key events being changed and the app not recognizing them.  We already have a fix and will be part of the next update coming out soon.

Title randomly stops scrolling

The current title usually scrolls when it's too long.

Very often it happens to me that the scrolling suddenly stops (after completing the current "round"). But it's still in scrolling mode (fades out instead of showing an ellipsis).


When I double-tap on the title it says the scrolling is now disabled. When I double tap again scrolling works again. But not for long - then it stops again.

Thanks for your post. Are you saying that the text scrolls offscreen and leaves no text visible on the player?

Stream/Playback stops (after Android Lollipop upgrade / Samsung GS4)

I love XiiaLive Pro and was so happy to find it after TuneIn became very unreliable.

However, after I updated my Samsung GS4 to Lollipop, the streams consistently stop playing.
I'm usually streaming via carrier network data connection (AT&T) and have an adequate connection.
I don't hear the sound effect that I sometimes hear when my connection is inadequate.
Everything about the app was working perfectly when I was using XiaaLive on the same device running KitKat.

I welcome any information that you may have about this issue.

Google Play Store "Your device isn't compatable with this version"

Have been using Android Pro version for years. Deleted off phone in error and went back to Google Play to find I could no longer install the application back. Using Froyuo 2.2 Android OS... Not a lick of problems running the latest version until I deleted app. All data is on SD card but see no way to restore or install back.

2 annoying problems with Nexus 7 2013 - no fix for neraly 4 months

1st: Ever since I bought Nexus 7 2013 (in last September) I was never able to REWIND or SKIP a buffered stream - whenever I adjust the slider it goes back to the beginning of the buffered stream. Same versions works fine on not so popular HUAWEI P1 with 4.0.3 - I can rewind/advanced any time I want.

2nd - For the lat 2 months (at least), on the Nexus with stock latest update, the app force closes 50 times a DAY !!! So annoying. I have an older version from summer 2013 that DOES NOT force closes but it lacks uber stations (I think its 3.0.2 or something).

PLEASE FIX THOSE ISSUES. I have sents hundreds of reports for the force closure.

It's been a while since this post... :( I just wanted to update the status as FIXED. These issues have been resolved. Simply make sure you have the FFmpeg stream engine selected. If you never changed the stream engine don't worry as it would then be selected automatically. If you still have issues please let me know.

Data connection trouble

Im running an android Galaxy S5 4.4.2 OS. For some reason I am able to connect under any wifi connection but not under a mobile 4G/LTE data connection. My stream setting is set to FFMpeg as the android setting doesnt work at all

Genres in Favorites List

Thanks for the App.  Fast, dependable, easy to use interface.  Would be easier if stations I selected to Favorites kept a standard Genre tag.  As it is, whatever genre-tags the station puts on itself becomes the Favorites-list genre. So, I have for example (baroque, Baroque and Baroque Classical)  or  ( 60, 60s, 60's, Classic Hits 60's, Classic Rock 60's, Oldies 60's, etc).  Having such spread for every genre of stations I've added makes it very tedious to browse my favorites. Hope you can clean up this feature.

Jona this will be the 5th time I have posted and still have received no help...im willing to purchase your Pro version but not until my issue is resolved. You have had my topic under review for 4 weeks now so Im not sure if you've forgotten about it. I need clarification on why your app wont load my URL stream under 4G but will under WiFi. My friend has the EXACT same phone as me and the stream loads no problem under 4G on his but not on mine.....the only difference is that he is with Rogers and Im with Telus, not sure if different service providers will effect anything. PLEASE HELP!
