Stream/Playback stops (after Android Lollipop upgrade / Samsung GS4)

I love XiiaLive Pro and was so happy to find it after TuneIn became very unreliable.

However, after I updated my Samsung GS4 to Lollipop, the streams consistently stop playing.
I'm usually streaming via carrier network data connection (AT&T) and have an adequate connection.
I don't hear the sound effect that I sometimes hear when my connection is inadequate.
Everything about the app was working perfectly when I was using XiaaLive on the same device running KitKat.

I welcome any information that you may have about this issue.

Google Play Store "Your device isn't compatable with this version"

Have been using Android Pro version for years. Deleted off phone in error and went back to Google Play to find I could no longer install the application back. Using Froyuo 2.2 Android OS... Not a lick of problems running the latest version until I deleted app. All data is on SD card but see no way to restore or install back.

2 annoying problems with Nexus 7 2013 - no fix for neraly 4 months

1st: Ever since I bought Nexus 7 2013 (in last September) I was never able to REWIND or SKIP a buffered stream - whenever I adjust the slider it goes back to the beginning of the buffered stream. Same versions works fine on not so popular HUAWEI P1 with 4.0.3 - I can rewind/advanced any time I want.

2nd - For the lat 2 months (at least), on the Nexus with stock latest update, the app force closes 50 times a DAY !!! So annoying. I have an older version from summer 2013 that DOES NOT force closes but it lacks uber stations (I think its 3.0.2 or something).

PLEASE FIX THOSE ISSUES. I have sents hundreds of reports for the force closure.

It's been a while since this post... :( I just wanted to update the status as FIXED. These issues have been resolved. Simply make sure you have the FFmpeg stream engine selected. If you never changed the stream engine don't worry as it would then be selected automatically. If you still have issues please let me know.

Data connection trouble

Im running an android Galaxy S5 4.4.2 OS. For some reason I am able to connect under any wifi connection but not under a mobile 4G/LTE data connection. My stream setting is set to FFMpeg as the android setting doesnt work at all

Genres in Favorites List

Thanks for the App.  Fast, dependable, easy to use interface.  Would be easier if stations I selected to Favorites kept a standard Genre tag.  As it is, whatever genre-tags the station puts on itself becomes the Favorites-list genre. So, I have for example (baroque, Baroque and Baroque Classical)  or  ( 60, 60s, 60's, Classic Hits 60's, Classic Rock 60's, Oldies 60's, etc).  Having such spread for every genre of stations I've added makes it very tedious to browse my favorites. Hope you can clean up this feature.

Jona this will be the 5th time I have posted and still have received no help...im willing to purchase your Pro version but not until my issue is resolved. You have had my topic under review for 4 weeks now so Im not sure if you've forgotten about it. I need clarification on why your app wont load my URL stream under 4G but will under WiFi. My friend has the EXACT same phone as me and the stream loads no problem under 4G on his but not on mine.....the only difference is that he is with Rogers and Im with Telus, not sure if different service providers will effect anything. PLEASE HELP!

Just purchased this app on a Galaxy Note II (T-mobile); all connection requests time out regardless of what stream I'm trying (and on Wi-Fi as well). Is this app known to work on Jelly Bean or what?

Please make sure you don't have any virus protection apps running such as Avast.  The app does work on JB.

Please restart automatically when WiFi reconnects after data guard is activated

Sometimes, my phone briefly drops its WiFi connection. Unfortunately, even if the drop is for only a second, XiiaLive Pro turns on its data guard, and the streaming stops.

Please would you allow XiiaLive Pro to automatically restart if WiFi is reconnected within a specified time after data guard turns on.

I would suggest that the specified time be a configurable option within Settings; my proposal is that the allowed values could be anywhere between 1 and 60 minutes, or (the default) zero to turn this feature off.

Using the free version v3.0.1.1 on Android 4.1.1 on a Galaxy Note II. Verizon is the carrier if that matters.

I like to listen to an ogg stream from www.kohina.com. This stream works just fine when I'm connected to wifi, but it fails to connect when I'm on the mobile data connection. MP3 streams work fine on both wifi and mobile data. Seems to just be the oggs that won't work on mobile data.

We are almost done with our latest stream engine. Hopefully this new engine should resolve any issues you are having. We hope to release sometime this month.
