no db

Lino Stavole 11 ár síðan updated by Jona (Lead Developer) 11 ár síðan 0

I have a htc Aria running on redpocket with a cyanogenmod 7.8 and cannot access the database. It says "db inaccessible".

I've re-installed the app.

I used to be able to run it on ATT plan with no problem. Any ideas?

This generally means the database is corrupted or simply was unable to create it. Do you have enough space on your device? Try reproducing the issue and doing a bug report from settings. Thanks!

We have recently released XiiaLive v2.1.6 which contains open API beta support. With this you can now create your own widgets that work with XiiaLive and publish them on the Android Market.

Sorry for the late reply to your post :P

Try turning the internal engine on by going to >settings >advance users. Now the internal engine is still in beta state so there might be some small bugs or issues. For example, the track artist/title will not be displayed.

Let us know if this works for you...

Send intent to API (Tasker)

Stephen Blott 11 ár síðan updated by Norbert 10 ár síðan 5

Hi!

I've seen the Intent-API which you've published, which is super.  However, I can't figure out how to get it to work in practice.

Could you post an example, please?  Ideally, in order of preference, in Tasker, using adb or in Java.

An example either of resume playback or play URL would be perfect.

Thanks!

I just wrote something about the APIs we support for controlling the app and receiving metadata and playback info. Please see the following post.

If you want more details or have questions please let me know and I'll try to reply as fast as I can. Thanks!

Genre screen forgets scroll position

Marc Knaup 11 ár síðan updated by Jona (Lead Developer) 11 ár síðan 0

I try a lot of radio stations to find good new ones. I go to a genre, scroll down the list of stations and choose a station which sounds interesting - which sends me to the player screen.

After a few seconds I go back to the genre screen to choose the next station, but the list is scrolled to the top again - I have to scroll down dozens of stations to find the one I chose last.

That's really annoying esp. when trying a lot of stations.

I bricked my tablet by converting xialive into a system app.  I believe may be able to go into adb sideload mode on tablet (won't boot, wiping cache and data didnt help.)  and perform  adb uninstall com.xialiveradio     however, I don't know the package name as it would appear in a android file system.

Stop button not working properly on AAC+ streams

Matthew Osborne 12 ár síðan updated by Jona (Lead Developer) 10 ár síðan 3

Since the 3.0.0 update, whenever I hit the 'Stop' button when listening to an AAC+ stream, the player displays the message 'stopping...' and just hangs. Although the audio stream does stop, I am then unable to start any other streams.  I have to forcibly kill the application thru the Android app manager to use it again.  It only happens on AAC+ streams though... all other formats appear to stop correctly.  My phone is an LG Optimus V... if you need me to get application logs for you please send me instructions on how to get them and I will provide as needed.

This issue should no longer happen when using the FFMPEG stream engine. This is currently the default stream engine.

Player won't play unless stays on screenscreen with Nexus 6

Amanda Carusone 9 ár síðan updated by Ralph 9 ár síðan 1
Hi- I have a Nexus 6, Lollipop 5.1 OS. Using the Xiia Android app all works fine as long as the player stays on screen. When the screen goes off or if I am doing other things on the phone the stream plays a few seconds, then goes off and then tries to reconnect, max tries reached, etc. All I have to do is bring it down from status bar to open on screen, click play and it immediately works fine. Suggestions? I LOVE Xiia, so I am going nowhere... Just wondered if this can be fixed soon. Thanks- Amanda
