How can I determine the version on my phone is the PAID version I paid for?

Khile T. Klock 14 years ago updated by Jona (Lead Developer) 14 years ago 0
I paid for XiiaLIve, but I'm not so sure I see the new features listed for PAID versions...

How can *I* tell if I have the PAID version or not... where's the BOUT or registration info..??
Answer
Jona (Lead Developer) 14 years ago
Note, that paid and free versions can be installed on the phone. That means both can be used simultaneously. We generally recommend uninstalling the free version to avoid confusion. If you have already some stations on your free version make sure to back them up via settings so that you can load them on the paid version.

There are two easy ways to tell which version you are running. One, check the launch icon if it has the lite word on it. If it does than it's not the paid version. Two, when you open the app look at the XiiaLive logo. If it has the lite word on it it's not the paid version.

Stream disconnects every 60 seconds on Xperia x10

davegrips 13 years ago updated by Jona (Lead Developer) 11 years ago 0
This just started happening last Friday.  Connects to stream and then disconnects every 60 seconds or so then reconnects.  Does this constantly but only in 3g.  When using WiFi it doesn't lose connection.  Using latest 2.2.4. Android 2.3.3

This issue should already already been fixed on XiiaLive v3.

You have most likely started the XiiaLive Lite and not XiiaLive.  Please make sure you have uninstalled XiiaLive Lite to avoid confusion between the two versions.

Just installed the new update 2.2.1 for Xiialive on my Atrix phone I now have must have the "internal stream engine" on in order to listen to MPEG streams or I get the "Android Media Framework Failures" error message.  When I have the "internal stream engine" on I cannot connect to ASX streams it will connect with "internal stream engine" off. Also I no longer receive song info on any stream.

I have it on my kindle HD. It says downloading 3.0.1 which has been downloading for the last 2 hours & now I cannot turn my kindle off % won't do anything. It's jammed it and am hoping when my battery dies that my kindle will work. Any suggestions?

I would recommend you stop the download and restart your device and try downloading again. I'm guessing the Amazon AppStore app had some issues.

XiiaLive Lite Holding Wake Lock

Chris Angeli 13 years ago updated by Jona (Lead Developer) 13 years ago 0
Basically noticed this last night using the timer. Set it for 30 minutes timer so that it would shut off once I am asleep. The music stopped but when I woke up my battery was down to half. Looking into the battery stats, Xiia held the wake lock it had throughout the night so the phone never went into sleep mode properly. This should be fixed so that Xiia isn't holding a wake lock it doesn't need while idling.

HI been trying your app out and it seems very good so far. But a few suggestions is an account where you can login via google account or other means to say an xiialive account so you can see the stations you have on any device?  Also would be a good idea to organise the stations by dragging them up or down.

Thanks for your request. We would like to provide cloud storage and improved sorting options for your favorites. This is something we want to add just waiting to have enough resources to do it. :)

ASUS Fonepad custom URL fails to play

Rainer Peffm 11 years ago updated by Jona (Lead Developer) 11 years ago 6

I use an ASUS Fonepad w/ Android 4.2.2. Adding playlist URLs works  fine. But everytime I try to add a .mp3 or .ogg stream URL, it verifies ok, then tries three times then says  cannot play. When adding the URLs to TuneIn they work alright right away. sam

Thanks for your feedback. Are you able to play the stations provided by the app?
