Please note that we are a team with one developer and one graphics designer. We like to personally answer posts but aren't always able to do so as quickly as we would like to. In order to help us become more efficient, please follow the steps below when posting new questions, ideas or bugs.

If you spotted a bug and you want to let us know about it, first try searching for OPEN bug posts with similar issues and add any details you think might help us with it. Also, make sure to up vote the OPEN bug post so we know how critical it is. If no OPEN bug posts are found simply post a new one.

Posting new bugs

When you post new bugs please give us as many details as you can! This will help us resolve issues quickly and easily.

Common details we need:
  1. What device do you have?
  2. What OS version is it running?
  3. What happened?
  4. What did you expect to have happened?
  5. What steps reproduce the issue?

 the rating message for the Play Store keeps bugging even though even done the rating already.

i've the latest pro version on S3 JB

In order to help me figure out if this is a bug or not please do the following.


Next time you see the message to rate, simply press Rate it! and than you can hit back to return to the app. This should disable the ratings prompt.


If the prompt returns again please let me know.  Also, if it returns this time un-check the Remind me later check and hit No thanks.  That should disable the prompt.


If the two options fail than we have a possible bug here.

AAC stream (93.5 FLOW CFXJ) skips since about 2-3 weeks

In the last 2-3 weeks, I and another person who use XiiaLive have noticed terrible skipping when listening to 93.5 FLOW CFXJ - station from Toronto, Canada. This never used to happen before. Compared using the FLOW app (an app the radio station released), and in their app there is no skipping. Sound quality the same, so believe that they are also using the 48kbps AAC stream.

Droid x2 on froyo not able to play aac+ streams

Anyone else with a Droid x2 able to play aac+ streams? I'm having no luck.  MP3 streams work fine though.

Please provide the link of the station you are having issues with.  Also, what phone do you have and what version of Android is it running?

Use with Dolphin Browser

I used to use XiiaLive Lite as the default media player for Dolphin Browser by setting the Dolphin browser to "User Agent - iPhone" which seemed weird, but it worked. Somehow in a recent update, I can't get it to load XiiaLive anymore. Any ideas what might have changed? 

I used this to listen to reduced rate internet radio streams at m.YourMuze.FM , for talk radio a 24k 1ch stream is generally adequate and streams a lot faster than the full stream.

What Android version is your phone running? Have you tried finding free or paid versions? I just looked up and I can find the app...


UPDATE:

New update is out, should make app visible to your phone.  Closing this post.  If you are still having difficulties finding the app please let us know.

Play MP3 files from folder

I try out XiiaLive on my Andriod Phone (S3) and did not found a way to add/select a folder on my phone with MP3 files. Can you help me?

We currently don't support playing local MP3 files. We are a live radio streaming only app. In the future we might add the ability to play your local mp3 files.

Please reproduce the issue and right away do a bug report by going to xiialive/settings and scrolling all the way to the bottom. This should hopefully provide us with some details about the potential issue.
