Hey, it's been a while since you posted this. I wanted to provide an updated answer to your question. The latest releases of XiiaLive contains the new stream engine that is fast and battery efficient compared to our previous solution and compared to all other apps out there that does live radio streaming. Not only that it is smarter at handling network connection loss and it is the most stable uninterrupted available.

G-Box based devices support
I have some G-Box (Android 4) based device (like Google-TV), on which I'm able to install XiiaLive Free, and it works flawlessly! But now when I wan't to buy PRO version, GooglePlay says the same device is not supported? ... can you help me with that to be able to buy/use PRO version? I can give you the exact device name (as provided/recognized by GooglePlay)

I have looked on the Google Play Market to see how many devices where supported by the free and pro version and the same count is seen. Have you ever purchased an app via that device? You could try to purchase via the play website and sending the install to that device. It's very odd since the two apps are identical.
Metadata Slow On Stream
The reason why other players seem to sync the metadata better could be because of a few different reasons. The one most likely is that we provide larger buffers. You could try lowering the buffer lengths to their minimum and see if the issue is corrected. Note that only Paid version allows buffering changes.
