Hi,
I've been using the free version on iPhone 5s. Once I buy the paid version, is there any option to set the timer like in the pro version on Android? I mean I was able to set the time,say, for 20 mins on Android and it would shut down after 20 mins automatically. That's what I need indeed. I don't want it to play continuously as I sleep.

Hello Pi,
the Sleep timer feature is not available yet for iOS version. We've pointed it as priority for new releases.

There is still no album Art
Dear XiiA Team, even i Installed the last FM Scrobbler, there is still no album Art. Do I do something wrong or is it still not implemented?

Some streams with an ad prequel don't work
Hi!
radiohelsinki (www.radiohelsinki.fi) doesn't work with xiaalive. It has an ad before the actual stream. Only the ad is played in an infinite loop. I believe bassoradio stream would do the same (didn't try that) and other streams that use a similar ad at the beginning.

Thanks for the feedback! I looked into this and did see what you are saying... I'm still trying to figure out how I can resolve this. It's something weird that has to do with the broadcasters.

What is the format of backup.xiia, perhaps there is a link with explanation.
I noticed in the net other <station> xml-style, but with instruction it would be easier, for example to add stations myself to the file. Thanks. (I'm a paid user).

The backup file was not really intended for manual editing but regardless can still be done.
Here is some info about the different fields. Please note that they can change in the future.
t=title
c=category/genre
e=encoding can be ignored
su=playlist URL
sm=playlist mime
sc=comma delimited playlist URLs
scm=playlist source mime essentially the first playlist element mime
scb=playlist source bitrate essentially the first playlist element mime
pc=play count
dc=date created

app starts playing when headphones are unplugged
i use the built in sleeptimer at night, but when i unplug the speakers in the morning, the app starts playing again. is this a bug or is there a setting i'm missing?

This sounds like it could be a bug. Does it happen every time? Does this issue happen with v2.1.6? What phone and Android version do you have?

View stream bitrate before tuning in
I love the new feature with UberStations and seeing what's playing before selecting a stream. Do you think there's a way to view the bitrate in the preview also? I prefer to use some of the higher rates when I'm in the car, but don't care as much if I'm using crap speakers some where else.

Unfortunately, UberStations currently doesn't provide bitrate information. The directory is being actively developed so I would really hope soon they add this particular detail. Thanks for your feedback!

Please try searching again. Sometimes broadcasts go down and come back up after few hours or days.

Bluetooth ogg stream server offline
Hi,
I connect to a remote icecast stream which requires username/password and it is working well in xiialive. There is however on scenario with bluetooth where it fails. I suspect xiialive is not using the username/password and hence giving server offline. These are the steps to produce it.
1. Xiialive is set to switch on when bluetooth is connected.
2. Turn on the car stereo and let bluetooth connect.
3. Xiialive starts and tries to connect to the icecast server.
4. Xiialive fails with 'server offline' error.
5. Exit xiialive and restart it.
6. Xiialive plays successfully the remote stream.
Can you investigate this please. I am using latest release.

Certain stream on certain device not working
A weird bug that comes on my Nexus 5 with Android 4.4.4 Stock: Everything is working fine, just not this one stream: http://vintage.chicradio.fr
It takes a long time before playback begins, and then it's distorted. Among all of my numerous stations on my favourites, this is the only one behaving this way, despite the fact that it's a simple MP3-Stream. The problem persists on mobile connections as well as on wifi.
Playback is ok on Winamp on PC, but also on my old Nexus S with 4.1.2 Stock Android device, which I've already checked out. The problem refers only to that particular stream on the Nexus 5.
Any idea what the reason could be?

Hey, I just checked the station to see if it was working. Everything seems to be working fine. We have released various important updates since your post that could have fixed this issue. Please let me know if you still have any issues.
