Lost Backup File
I have been add stations to the Favorites list by editing the "backup.xiia" file and saving it to "sdcard/xiialive/backup/backup.xiia" . I may have done something wrong, because now when I select "Restore from xml file" I get an error message saying "Backup file not found under path:" "/storage/emulated/0/xiialive/backup/backup.xiia".
Any suggestions about how to fix this problem?

So doing what you did should have worked. If the file was corrupted for some reason I think it should have given an error saying that it was corrupted. You can attempt to retry the action and right after trigger a bug report. On the bug report place this post URL as a reference. Hopefully, that gives me an idea what is going on. Also, the other deal would be to look at your actual backup file.
So anyways, the xiia file is a bit tricky to edit and can break easily, mainly because it wasn't made to be edited. Also, doing backups and restores is way to hard... For that reason we created a new way to backup and restore your favorites which is super easy. Release v3.3.1 is now slowly rolling out with this feature.
So now with the new backup file it is a bit easier to know how to modify the file. Also, the backup is now shared to any location you want. To restore you can just tap on the file from any location, email, dropbox, etc... and XiiaLive will be suggested to open it.
1. Remove broken widget

Utilize 60 minute buffer in car without cell service or wifi
Is there a way to listen to the 60 minute buffer cache without cell service or wifi? Is there a setting to put the paid version on so you do not get a connection timeout and lose your buffer cache!
I do not have cell service so I wanted to cache 60 minutes in the buffer over wifi and then listen to the 60 minute cache in may car without using a cell service.
Can't add stations to favorites in 3.0.1 + pls with multiple stations
I have an issue that makes Xiialive 3.0.1 unusable.
Whenever I try to add any station to the favorites by either the button on the play screen or enter the url by hand the station does not appear in the favorites (the button in now playing shows gree, as in added, though)
Anther question I have is, how do I add a .pls with about 20 channels at once to Xiialive? If I open it only the first channel is being played and I can't seem to access the others.

Couple key questions to better understand the possible issue/bug. Can you provide the URL you are trying to add? Also, with that send me a backup of your favorites? Email to jona@visualblasters.com. The backup can be done under Settings->Backup&Restore. This will allow me to see what could be going on.
Adding a playlist to XiiaLive causes to create one station that contains all playlist items/URLs. If you have multiple stations=URLs in one playlist right now you will need to add each one individually. However, you could try playing individual stations from the the playlist by going into the player and swiping on the station name from right to left. This will bring up a playlist showing all the items/URLs.

"Screen Timeout" Disable when playing
Pressed play will disable the screen timeout. Pressed stop will enable default screen timeout.
Make progress bar
What usually happens is radio stations take their streams down temporarily for maintenance and then bring them up in a few hours or sometimes days. Also, some streams are pirated and can be taken down.
Native support for Android Auto and/or Apple CarPlay
XiiaLive Pro works great with my Sony Z3 Compact, car's Bluetooth and steering wheel controls. However with Android Auto, I would love to control and view XiiaLive advanced features with my car's touchscreen.

I tried to find out the url of Latin Jazz @ batanga.com. Is there any possibility in Xiialive to display the full url?
