I did the most recent updste and lost alot of my channels

I have the paid version and alot of my channel. Options are gone!!!!!

The settings page was change a bit but all the options are still there (plus some new ones). 


About the stations, they shouldn't have changed because of the update. Sometimes stations take their streams down temporarily for maintenance and are back up in a few hours or sometimes days. Also, they can be taken down permanently do to piracy. 

Another problem might be that they changed their url so playing it from your favorites might not work. In this case, deleting it and adding it back to your favorites will fix it. 

If you updated from the lite to the paid, doing a backup on the lite version and then a restore on the paid version will get all of your favorites and tagged songs updated to the paid version. You can do this by going to the 'settings' and then 'advanced users'.

Integer.MAX_VALUE error in headset interceptor

I get an error in Headset Interceptor.
It states that I should ask you not to use Integer.MAX_VALUE as media button priority.

Is there any way of fixing this?

Indeed XiiaLive had the priority set as Integer.MAX_VALUE.  We have changed this value to be a lot lower and will be part of the next release of XiiaLive v2.2.4.

Not connecting to Car Kit

What do I need on my BT Car Kit to have it play XiiaLive? My phone already connects to my car kit and works for phone calls but XiiaLive does not play.


XiiaLive does automatically stop steaming when my car is turned OFF.


I'm using the Pro Version.

XiiaLive won't find known stations.

I have a Motorola Backflip MB300 with Android 1.5 and XiiaLive "doesn´t find" many known local stations such as FM ASPEN 102.3 or FM ROCK AND POP 95.9. They´re both very popular and working fine! What´s wrong??

These are the websites of the radios www.fmaspen.com and www.fmrockandpop.com

If the stations aren't on the SHOUTcast then unfortunately they won't be on Xiialive. We use the their database and can't add, delete, or modify any stations. You can however add your own stations to your favorites if you have the stream url. You can usually find it on the stations website or by searching on google. 

I found both stations for you ;) 

Go to this link and add either url (there's two for each; .asx and .m3u):

Song listing unavailable while playing stations.

Since having download xiialive I have not had song listing, I have the stations name but under the Station name is says unavailable.

Some stations don't provide now playing track information.  You should be able to get track info on other stations.  What station in particular are you not seeing track info?

Radio Interactive Chat Room

I like to have an interactive chat room where you can hang out with the live DJ and other listeners. A great place to meet like minded people around the world. When there is no live presenter, the Chatroom is still open but not interactive with the radio. I could find two services RumbleTalk and xcat but lack of third party user integration. Maybe someone knows other chat room service?

Having a chat room to talk to the radio station you are listening to is a great idea. However, at the moment we don't have any plans for this feature but hopefully in the future this becomes a reality.

Ikke en bug

When an email notification is received, XiiaLive volumn is changed - much lower. This is happening on Android Tablet connected via WiFi. I've disabled volumn

On WiFi connected Anroid tablet, when an email notification is received XiiaLive volumn is lowered significantly.  This keeps me from using the player because of the sound lose.  How can this be fixed?   I've changed settigns->sound->volumne to 0% and notification to 0%.  Also disabled all options available in hopes of resolving to no avail.  Please advise.  Thanks!

That for the feedback. Generally when email notification sounds are triggered by the OS XiiaLive would duck the volume a little and after the sound is played it would raise the volume back up. Did you notice the volume regain at all?

Audio Stream Repeating

What would cause a portion of a stream to repeat?  When I stream using your app, sometimes it will repeat the last couple of seconds of a song then the song will continue to play. Then it about a minute later, it will skip forward a couple of seconds - it seems like it tries to "catch up" to the live audio feed. I'm using version 3.0.1.2. Thanks.

Android version:

Stream audio format:  MPEG or AAC?


Some particular devices seem to have issues with streaming and can cause repeats.  We are working on a much more advanced player that should resolve this type of issues.
