Player stops after 2 seconds of play time
I am using my samsung galaxy note 2 ATT This issue happens if I am on cell data or Wifi. The player will stop after about 20 seconds of playtime
(Varries some times) and re-buffer and play fine the rest of the time the app is on. It will do this every time the app is restarted or user presses stop then play. Again after the initial instance the player will play like normal. Full signal/bars is reported by phone as well.
Station I am tuning into is:

buffer length 40000 (I had to set it this high to drive across town and it not drop the station when switching towers)
connect time out: 5000ms
read time out: 5000ms
Hey sorry for the delayed reply! I would recommend you take the prebuffer to something higher. more like 15,000ms since this is the initial amount of audio it's gonna buffer before starting playback. Right now it is too low and will cause the player to go into buffering for a long while since you have set buffer length to 40,000 ms.

Fail to Connect
I just wanted to alert you to a situation I face fairly frequently with XiiaLive on my HTC One running android version 4.4.2. This situation occurs when I am in a weak signal area of my home, which unfortunately is where I hook my phone up to my living room stereo.
Often, the Wi-Fi signal strength shown in the status bar will be two, maybe three arcs, but definitely below full strength. When I use XiiaLive to connect to a favorite Internet radio station, a "failed to connect" condition is fairly likely. When this happens, and even if the signal strength increases, maybe because I move out of the way a little bit or hold the device in a different position, XiiaLive will never recover from this condition and connect to the stream.
I can, however, switch Wi-Fi off, in which case XiiaLive immediately connects via the mobile network, and then turn Wi-Fi on again, stop the stream in XiiaLive, and then restart it. At that point, the stream is properly connected via Wi-Fi, and it's all good.
I hope with this information you might be able to locate something in the code that is preventing a successful retry to connect to a stream under marginal Wi-Fi signal strength.
I have two other quick questions that this has brought to mind.
When I switch off Wi-Fi and XiiaLive connects to the mobile network, will it ever automatically reconnect to Wi-Fi when it becomes available again, or once connected to the mobile network, is the app locked onto the mobile network and unable to switch back to Wi-Fi?
And finally, on the stream graph at the bottom of the app, when the buffer index markers are red, does this indicate that the app is using the mobile network? Usually when on Wi-Fi those markers are white, and I only see red when I'm on the mobile network. Just wanted to verify that red means I'm on the mobile network.

Bug with Last.FM scrobbling
Hi,
since the last Version I noticed a bug with Last.FM scrobbling. When I listen to music it shows up the Last.FM App scrobbling Icon but the scrobbling history of my Last.FM profile is not up to date. It only tracks the music i listened from my pc but not the music i listened on my HTC with XiiaLive.
What I noticed: My Last.FM profile shows up the current song that XiiaLive is playing, but the history of the last played songs is never updated with XiiaLive scrobbles.
I don´t know if this is a Last.FM bug or a bug from XiiaLive.

Took a bit long to get to your post. However, this issue as you might have noticed has been fixed on release v3.0.1.1.

problems with Galaxy Nexus
Hi guys, thanks for this wonderful app.
I have an issue while listening to streams when the Display is off.
When its off, the sound is interrupting.
If i turn the display on again it's working well. Turning off display the issue appears instantly.
Also if the volume of the program is 100% the sound is distorsioned.

PS. The previous version didn't have this issues with the same Android 4.0.4.

Hi Dan, thanks for your your feedback! Few questions for you.
1. What OS version is your Galaxy Nexus running?
2. Have you changed by any chance to the FFmpeg stream engine?
3. Does this issue happen with MPEG and AAC format stations?
equalizer doesn't work
At first it worked fine. But now it doesnt change the sound anyhow. I didnt found out any info if its a pro feature, only that its beta.
Reboot reported to have resolved the issue. The cause could have been that the Android Media Framework has crashed and a reboot would have restarted it.
Some suggestions
I am a very satisfied user of Xiialive Pro since more than 2 years now. Absolutely great work!
Just want to share my 3 suggestions for some issues that I encounter every day when I use Xiialive:
1- Xiialive supports the media Keys for +/- (for exp. Bluetooth Remote) to change to the next/previous Station of the Fav. List. The Problem now is that in all Apps like Google Music, Spotify, Deezer aso. that also accept media keys input, when pressing + I get the next song in the list, when pressing - I get the previous one. In Xiialive it is exactly the opposite. May be it would be possible to add an Entry in the settings like "reverse media keys input"? In that way users can choose the right behaviour when pressing the media keys.
2- The possibilty to assign a local custom logo for every station of the favorite list. As I remember the favorite list is some sort of xml file(did not check it right now), so it would be really easy to add a link for a custom local logo file there for any station.
Even when Xiialive finds a logo for a station, the quality of it is often bad. Thats why I would prefer my own custom logo.
3- The new design/theme is really great! Especially when Xiialive finds the album cover. Unfortunately many stations do not send only the title/artist of the current song, it is more like this:
You are listening to "XYZ SONG" from "XYZ Artist" on XYZ-Station.
That way Xiialive can't find the right album cover. If this occures, it would be great if the Sender logo is shown instead of the play logo in the Album place.
Of course it would be perfect if there is some type of intelligent Text grabber that can extract the right song name, but I think that is really hard to achieve, as any station has its own way to send the current song title.

Best music app ever!
I've tried just about every music app on my Samsung Galaxy S3 and XiiaLive is the best hands down. I've now removed every other music app from my phone because XiiaLive has them all covered.
