I am a very satisfied user of Xiialive Pro since more than 2 years now. Absolutely great work!
Just want to share my 3 suggestions for some issues that I encounter every day when I use Xiialive:
1- Xiialive supports the media Keys for +/- (for exp. Bluetooth Remote) to change to the next/previous Station of the Fav. List. The Problem now is that in all Apps like Google Music, Spotify, Deezer aso. that also accept media keys input, when pressing + I get the next song in the list, when pressing - I get the previous one. In Xiialive it is exactly the opposite. May be it would be possible to add an Entry in the settings like "reverse media keys input"? In that way users can choose the right behaviour when pressing the media keys.
2- The possibilty to assign a local custom logo for every station of the favorite list. As I remember the favorite list is some sort of xml file(did not check it right now), so it would be really easy to add a link for a custom local logo file there for any station.
Even when Xiialive finds a logo for a station, the quality of it is often bad. Thats why I would prefer my own custom logo.
3- The new design/theme is really great! Especially when Xiialive finds the album cover. Unfortunately many stations do not send only the title/artist of the current song, it is more like this:
You are listening to "XYZ SONG" from "XYZ Artist" on XYZ-Station.
That way Xiialive can't find the right album cover. If this occures, it would be great if the Sender logo is shown instead of the play logo in the Album place.
Of course it would be perfect if there is some type of intelligent Text grabber that can extract the right song name, but I think that is really hard to achieve, as any station has its own way to send the current song title.

Best music app ever!
I've tried just about every music app on my Samsung Galaxy S3 and XiiaLive is the best hands down. I've now removed every other music app from my phone because XiiaLive has them all covered.

Hi! Cloud favorites backup is something we want to add definitely. We already started work on it and we are trying to figure out how much it will cost us to run... :/ But regardless it is something we need to have ASAP.

how do i add my channel?
Ive looked at the article for that and all it says is to list in shoutcast directory which i am already listed. The article as a dead link so i cant egt any information.

Currently our default radio directory is UberStations. Please check the following link where it provides details on how to add your station to UberStations.

Is there a way to sort favorites?
I'd like to be able to rename (I see it's under review) and sort my favorites so it is easier to find specific favorite stations by the genres they play

XiiaLive v3 now has a lot of options for filtering and sorting stations and songs! :)

Here only displays "Unknown" where normally are displayed music info and artist info...

This is a confirmed bug and we have already a fix. Update will be out in the next few days! Thanks for reporting the issue!
Update 06/19/11:
My fault I got confused. The issue was not with the internal stream engine, it was with the Android based stream engine. That has been resolved. I would recommend you try setting the internal engine to OFF and see if you can stream. The metadata addition for the internal stream engine will be soon.

Ads in paid version?
I upgraded to the paid version due to the ad free claim on the website, yet I still have them. So uh, whats up with that?

Paid version has no ads. This seems very strange to us. Please make sure that you are opening "XiiaLive" and not "XiiaLive Lite"
*XiiaLive Paid and Free are two different apps that can be on the phone at the same time. I would suggest uninstalling the free version to avoid confusion.

App looks great but I am worried about security risks
Why in the world does your app need to "read phone and state identity" and provide the gps location of the user? seems like a pretty big security risk.

Great question!
Well the first "Phone and State identity".
Without this permission we wouldn't know when to lower the volume of the stream when a phone call is received or being made.
Second, "gps location".
We have this for ads purposes. If you install the paid version it wont ask for this permission because we don't use ads there.
