Radio station doesn't work

It's not working on xiialive 3.0.1.2 (neo v, android 2.3.4). Tried in winamp on windows os and everything is ok.

I tested the URL with various other devices but didn't see any issues. What issues are you seeing on your device? A particular error being outputted?


If you can you can try reproducing the issue and right away collecting the logs. This should allow me to see what could potentially be happening on your device.

store m3u internally

I play radio from a .m3u file (on sdcard or external sd card), and make it a favorite. I detected that the contents of the .m3u, which contains the actual station's address, is not being saved. Gets saved only the name of the file.m3u. When I move the .m3u on the sdcard the station does no longer play. Thanks for considering it.

Does XiiaLive offer buffer status view? (a procentage of buffer fill), so I can set correctly buffer length or see if my network is too slow.

I cant find a station on Xiialive

I have an internet radio station that I stream through shoutcast.  Last week, the stram couldnt be found on Xiia live.  I decided to re-download Xiia lite and try to find it there. It was there. 
Why would my station suddenly not show up on the paid for version (even after doing a search for the station) but it does show up on the lite version?  It worked fine until last week.

What phone and Android version is it running?  What is the exact text you are typing to search? Could you try doing the search again on both the paid and free version? Thanks!

Windows Media Streams broken in last update.

The last update I received on July 30 2013 has broken Windows Media Streams.  They will no longer work when using "Android Stream Engine."  The "FFMpeg Stream Engine" works but has other issues on several AAC+ steaming stations (stations with scripts that play initial announcements).

Social Crime Radio Network not on XiiaLive?

Okay the Social Crime Radio Network is on in Shoutcast, but not on xiia. Maybe you guys got to jiggle a cord or throw a penny in the breaker or sompin? Joking aside i would like to hear this station again. Love the app otherwise.

I just searched on the phone for this particular radio station and it did show. I would suggest trying again. I have tried with the first letter as upper case and it didn't find the station but when searching all lower case the station did show up. I"ll investigate why this is happening...

turn off album art

I've never been a fan of album art. Is it possible to implement a switch to turn this off?

I can't promise we will do this but most likely we will add an option to disable album art everywhere regardless of the theme used.

How can I determine the version on my phone is the PAID version I paid for?

I paid for XiiaLIve, but I'm not so sure I see the new features listed for PAID versions...

How can *I* tell if I have the PAID version or not... where's the BOUT or registration info..??

Note, that paid and free versions can be installed on the phone. That means both can be used simultaneously. We generally recommend uninstalling the free version to avoid confusion. If you have already some stations on your free version make sure to back them up via settings so that you can load them on the paid version.

There are two easy ways to tell which version you are running. One, check the launch icon if it has the lite word on it. If it does than it's not the paid version. Two, when you open the app look at the XiiaLive logo. If it has the lite word on it it's not the paid version.

Stream disconnects every 60 seconds on Xperia x10

This just started happening last Friday.  Connects to stream and then disconnects every 60 seconds or so then reconnects.  Does this constantly but only in 3g.  When using WiFi it doesn't lose connection.  Using latest 2.2.4. Android 2.3.3
