- New last.fm scrobble support. Need Last.FM app.
Improvements:
- Improved AAC/AACP buffering percent accuracy.
- Sports radio genre now shows a lot more stations.
- Improved M3U playlist compatibility parsing.
- Resolved initial audio data loss on some devices when starting MPEG stream.
- Screen OFF checks to avoid doing extra work during this state. Less work=happy battery.
- Remove powerwake lock.
- Improved MPEG streaming.
- Improved connection state monitoring.

- Menu bar scroll double tap bug fix for Android 2.2.
- Fix widget loosing station information.
- Licensing check thread leak fixed.

I can't find paid-version of XiiaLive
I have Sharp IS01 (Android version 1.6) and using XiiaLive Lite. It's great App!
I'd like to upgrade my App to change the buffer size, but I can't find paid-version of XiiaLive at Android market.

Thanks for your feedback! As of now the Android Market is the only way to purchase the app. Soon we will sell it via Amazon Market.
As of now you can't see it on the Android Market most likely because of a little bug we have introduced to the app on the last update which makes the app not available to some Android 1.5 and 1.6 devices... Update with fix should go out soon.

Bluetooth play/pause not work with screen off
hello, i have Samsung g920f 5.1.1.
I connected Bluetooth Samsung level link, play/pause from Bluetooth not work with screen off.
No difference with settings media control enabled. Even with media control disabled, play/pause still work from Bluetooth with screen on but not work with screen off.
Other apps like Spotify work good with screen off

SHOUTCast video streaming
Can the app handle low bandwidth (200-400kbps) H264 video + MP3 audio streams provided via http from a ShoutCast server?

Our app is currently not designed for video playback. However you could potentially stream the content but receive no video just audio. You would have to go into XiiaLive settings and change the stream engine to be internal... Or using XiiaLive Beta go under settings->Streams and change the stream engine to FFMpeg.

Organizing Favorites
I am trying to organize my favorites so that when I use the Player next/prev set on favorites it scrolls through them in a specific order (i.e. by genre). Looking at the xml data I noticed a pattern that the 'dc' tag seems to be a number that coincidentally matches the patter for which station is played next when the next or prev button is pressed. I would like to know the purpose of the 'dc' tag and if is this something that I can alter to place the stations in the order that I desire.

connection dropped
was llistening to ebm-radio.com (a high bandwidth stream) using XiiaLive (not lite). Connection dropped, but xiialive now won't connect to the stream again. Or any stream. Selecting any favorite brings me to the player windows, but the player is locked on the old stream, still saying connection dropped. Tried exiting app and restarting, same result. Tried killing app and restarting, same result. Will, probably have to reboot the device....
Not the ffirst time, I've had this issue on my xoom, though it happens only infrequently. But it's annoying to force a reboot.

Thanks for the info. So, what is the exact message you are seeing every time you would try to connect? I know you said connection dropped but I just want to make sure that is the only message or you see something else...
My initial guess is that Android media framework on your phone is crashing for some reason. This does sometimes require the phone to be restarted.
If you notice the app to not be able to stream just long press the stop button to force the streaming process to be cleared out.
In any case if you have time when you reproduce the issue could you collect the phones logs? This could help me target the exact cause a lot faster!

Like to know if is possible to to disable the sound of the program when buffer reaches 100%.

You can easily change the notification fxs by going into XiiaLive->Settings->User experience and select the Notification sounds. A popup should provide a few options. Select disabled.

OK I have written before and am confused.
OK I have written before and am confused. I go to www.radiocentro.com.mx and want to connect to 2 of their stations there. You all say you do not support the format yet. 2 of the stations on that site I can access on xiialive. There are 2 others on there I cannot. The 2 I can access are Universal 92.1 and StereoJoya 93.7. They were already on the listings. The 2 I want to add are RadioCentro and Fonografo. When I try to add the 2 already on xiialive I get an unsupported format error as well. Maybe I am entering something incorrectly. Please help!!!

Hello, sorry for the late reply. I usually recommend sending an email to the radio stations. Sometimes they can provide you with the correct link to stream their radio station. The formats supported by XiiaLive are MPEG and AAC.

There are 22 arabic speaking countries, its a shame that none will be able to use this app as its only offer a handful Arabic internet streaming.

Hey, thanks for your request. The UberStations directory is growing every day with new stations. Have you tried using the SHOUTcast directory too?

Cool! Thanks for the info! Are you running the beta with ads showing? I had a bug for that version with the button states. I'm putting a new update hopefully today or tomorrow...
