Posting new bugs
When you post new bugs please give us as many details as you can! This will help us resolve issues quickly and easily.Common details we need:
- What device do you have?
- What OS version is it running?
- What happened?
- What did you expect to have happened?
- What steps reproduce the issue?

Use Jump Controls in Player View to navigate through Lists
The jump buttons at the bottom of the player view are mostly useless for me.
I only listen to radio streams so there is no playlist.
I rarely jump through favorite stations using these buttons and when I do it's either by accident or leads to a random favorite station. I don't really get the order it's using to go through the favorite stations. I prefer choosing the favorites explicitly.
These buttons would be much more helpful if they allow you do navigate through any kind of list - in the list's order.
E.g. I am in the list of stations for a genre. I choose to play a station. I could just the jump buttons to go the next/previous station in the list for that genre.
Same for search, history, etc.
That would make discovering & trying out new stations a lot easier :)
Hi thanks for your feedback. Your idea on this is very interesting. We will take a closer look into the suggested feature and see what makes sense.
Optimus VM670 problem
I cleared the cache on my Gmail app, I uninstalled a couple of other apps I had installed around the same time I installed Xiia Live Lite, even cleared a bit of memory off my 2gb SD card before checking out if XLL was the problem.
Which, unfortunately, it is.
Edit:
Forgot to mention my phone is unrooted, and that this problem appeared roughly between January 5th and 9th, just a few weeks ago; this was getting rather irritating as I use my phone as my primary method for new email notifications.
Track name doesn't always update
Sometimes the track listing won't update when a new song comes on. Is this a shoutcast thing or is there a setting somewhere I can mess with? :)

It seems to playing sound via headphones and vibrator.
How to disable vibration ?
XiiaLive doesn't support playing music along with vibration. This might be a particular feature on your device? What device do you have and what version of Android is it running?
The only thing we use the vibrator for is for the original skin volume bar.
XiiaLive [BETA] - XML file restore failed
fade in
I love the alarm functionality, but the fade time seems to be the same no matter what value I tell it to use. I set it to 4 minutes but it seems to be at full volume after only one or two minutes. I'm on a rooted galaxy s3 running android 4.1.1.
Thanks for your feedback. I took a look at the code and did some tests and everything was working as expected. However, I did notice what you are saying. Essentially our volume changing sensitivity was a bit hard. I have updated it to be a softer when increased. This should make the fading effect feel a bit more natural. You can expect this change on the next update of XiiaLive. Thanks!
Arabic internet stream
If you would like to help us grow the Arabic stations faster you can actually add stations to the directory so that everyone can access them. Here are the steps.
unplug headset shuts off app
If you are referring to having the device connecting to bluetooth stereo and unplugging the headset, this would be something we need to improve internally.
