xiialive pro does not play

I am using a samsung s4 and xiia live works great. I upgraded to Xiia Pro and I get no sound. I played with the audio focus--on-off but no change. Xiia live works fine but the upgrade to pro has all my old settings but no sound. What did I miss?

Thanks for your feedback and confirmation of the actual issue. This is a commonly reported issue with some Samsung devices. The issue has to do with an Android bug that causes the audio to mute when the EQ is turned ON. Unfortunately we have tried all we could to get around this but didn't find a solution. Could you provide the Android version your device is running? Thanks!

wont play tries 3 times then says max retries reached

i downloaded from amazon apps for android  but wont play anything tries  connecting  then nothing very frustrating have wireless internet  and 4.0 tablet

Bugs resolved:
-Media controls took over aggressively by application.
-Some URL mime not resolved correctly.
-Stations page crashing due to null pointers.
-Widget kept a service running.
-Closing streams rarely made app crash.
-Memory leak when rotating player screen.
-Share all option non-functional.

Improvements:
-Broadcasts are no longer received when widget are not installed.
-Improved buffering logic.  
 + Removed use of a very expensive class with unneeded data processing.
 + Removed exceptions being thrown extensively during connect for MPEG stream.
 + Smart data feeding logic to use less CPU when data connection is slow. 

New feature:
-Advance setting option to enable streaming with internal stream engine. Note this is only beta state and there is no metadata being sent yet.
-Double tap Now playing or Station title to stop scrolling animation.
-New option under adv settings to allow unlimited retry connection.
-New notification fx themes to choose from! [paid only]

Cannot upgrade - market require to pay twice!!!

I've bought your app, I have 2.1.4 version installed without AAC, but when I tried to upgrade I've found, that you want me to pay twice!!! I can not upgrade and make AAC workable! This is f**** fail!

Sometimes it seems you are going to be charged again but it's just how the Android Market works. You will never be charged twice so as long as you are using the same gmail account used for the original purchase. If ever charged twice you can easily let us know and we would fix it! :)

solved: added own invalid station

well I was unable to manually add my radio station url that I stream from Sam Broadcaster, but going to the Shoutcast page on my android phone and selecting to open the listen link got it streaming to XiiaLive! Was unable to add it as a favorite (the + Button wasn't highlighted,selected the station from history and added it that way. Odd thing is,comparing the url of my manual add that told me invalid url each time, was identical to the link added via the shoutcast page that worked.

Generally if the (+) add fav button is disabled is because it is already in your favorites list.  Please make sure you can find it under your favorites.

Bluetooth audio streaming (A2DP) + Gingerbread = sound drops and/or stutters

HTC Desire HD 2.3.3 Gingerbread and Parrot Mki9000 SW ver. 1.83 (also tested on a Peugeot Blutooth car kit). When i listening streaming music via bluetooth (A2DP) every 3-5 minutes I hear an audio stuck less than half second, after it continues normally. No interference, i think a bug software. With my old Acer Liquid 2.2 Froyo and the same car kit hands free, the streaming via bluetooth worked ok!

Network host not responding twitter

When I try to "Login" under Twitter, it just says Network host not responding. I don't use the twitter app on my phone, and never will. Is this part of the problem?

Backup file is on the SDCARD root and when I read it with Root Explore, it displays all the favorites I have... but when I do a restore, it only empties out the favorites list and imports nothing.

Unfortunately the emailed backup file is corrupted. I tried everything I could to repair the backup but I was not able to...  Because of this issue I'm already thinking of a better backup mechanism that should always be easy to resolve any backup corruptions.

Could you send me an email with your backup if you don't mind?  I would like to see if I can import it and if not I can try to discover why it doesn't.  If you do email the file send it to support@xiialive.com

Is there a version xiialive for symbian?
I like listening to a webradio that uses a streaming (m3u), there is a program for symbian like the xiialive and read this file type m3u?

XiiaLive is currently only available for Android. Our next goal is to be able to bring XiiaLive to iOS and Win8 phones.  Symbian is currently not on our plans.
